Abstract: A method for determining a first setpoint for a first vector component of the phase currents along a first axis of a rotating reference frame connected to a rotor of the electric generator, and a second setpoint for a second vector component of the phase currents along a second axis of the rotating reference frame. The second vector component of the phase currents is to bring about defluxing of the rotor; and controlling the rectifier on the basis of the first and second setpoints for the vector components of the phase currents. The first setpoint for the first vector component of the phase currents is determined on the basis of an external feedback loop designed to feedback-control a voltage on a DC bus or to regulate a current from a battery connected to the DC bus.

  • Patent number: 12212266
Abstract: A powertrain, a coolant flow rate estimation method, and an electric vehicle are provided. Coolant in a first cooling loop of the powertrain is configured to cool an inverter. An electronic pump drives the coolant to circulate in the first cooling loop. When a phase current of a motor is greater than or equal to a preset current value, a controller determines a rotation speed of the electronic pump at a first moment as a first rotation speed, and determines a coolant flow rate at the first moment based on a temperature at a first position in the first cooling loop, a temperature at a second position in the inverter, and a power loss of the inverter. In the solution of this application, data does not need to be separately calibrated for different thermal management systems. This reduces time consumed by data calibration and improves practicability.

  • Patent number: 12143052
Abstract: In induction motors, efficiency is improved and a maximum torque is increased. For a magnetic flux density of the stator pole for each phase of an induction motor, a circumferential magnetic flux density distribution is controlled to any distribution state, from a trapezoidal wave-like distribution close to a square wave to a sinusoidal distribution. In particular, motor efficiency in a range of low to medium rotations is improved. The motor structure is designed to reduce the leakage inductance of the rotor windings, and the motor and control thereof are optimized for each other. This increases the maximum torque of the motor more effectively. In addition, the high efficiency of the motor makes it possible to reduce the size of the drive circuit.
