Abstract: Air conditioner units and operating methods are provided. A unit includes an outdoor heat exchanger, an indoor heat exchanger, and a compressor. The unit further includes a bulkhead disposed between the outdoor heat exchanger and the indoor heat exchanger. The unit further includes a vent aperture defined in the bulkhead. The unit further includes a dehumidification system which includes an evaporator, a condenser, and an auxiliary compressor in fluid communication with the evaporator and the condenser. The unit further includes a humidity sensor disposed within the outdoor portion, and a controller in communication with the compressor, the auxiliary compressor and the humidity sensor. The controller is configured to deactivate the auxiliary compressor when the compressor is active and an outdoor humidity level sensed by the humidity sensor is above a predetermined humidity threshold.

Abstract: Dessicants employed in dehumidifying moisturized air present within a water-damaged building are themselves dehumidified to liberate collected moisture through the use of ambient air drawn over and about a heat exchanger fired by diesel fuel, with a portion of the dehumidified air being diverted to join with the ambient air in increasing the liberation of the moisture within the dessicant.
Abstract: An adjustable angle display device for holding and displaying objects includes a base portion, a display portion coupled to the base portion and adapted to pivot about a pivot point, and a positioning device having a first end coupled to the base portion and a second end coupled to the display portion, the positioning device adapted to adjustably position the display portion in a first position and a second position relative to the base. A method of providing an adjustable angle display device includes pivotally coupling a first end of a display portion to a base portion, providing a positioning device to selectively raise and lower a second end of the display device relative to the base portion, coupling the positioning device in operable engagement with the base portion and the display portion, and operating the positioning device to selectively adjust a display angle of the display device.
Abstract: A high pressure gas cooler for a motor-vehicle air-conditioning system, the refrigerant circuit having, in the flow direction of the refrigerant, a compressor, the gas cooler, an inner heat exchanger exchanging heat between the high-pressure and low-pressure sides, a throttle device, an evaporator and a manifold on the low-pressure side, which communicates via the low-pressure side of the inner heat exchanger with the intake side of the compressor. The gas cooler is combined with the inner heat exchanger and/or the manifold on the low-pressure side to form a single unit.
Abstract: A heating and/or air conditioning device for a motor-vehicle passenger compartment has an air-inlet chamber and a blower for installation in a rear part of the vehicle, a treatment and distribution device for installation in a front part of the passenger compartment), and a connecting duct for connecting the blower to the treatment and distribution device.
