  • Patent number: 11589710
Abstract: The present invention involves a device and system for grinding herbs, tobacco, leaves and the like. The herb grinder system herein includes a snap together configuration. The lid is provided with magnets positioned around an upper shoulder. These magnets cooperate with secondary magnets positioned around the upper perimeter of the body to hold the lid in place for use, and when not being used for grinding. The bottom portion of the body is provided with a second storage pilot that includes a cup seal. The cup seal is constructed to allow the storage container to be slipped over the pilot and retained in position by friction provided by the cup seal, even when filled with tobacco or the like from the grinder. Removal of the storage container simply requires the user to pull the storage container away from the body.

  • Patent number: 11554403
Abstract: In order to provide a balanced bent lip disc, the applicant routinely had issues with rippling at an outer circumference edge of the lip. Due to the geometries involved in a 3½ inch disc bent to provide an outer lip of ½ inch at 45 degrees, 0.1145 of excess circumference is created thereby providing a ripple effect. The applicant discovered that simultaneously embossing the lip while bending the lip could reduce this rippling effect (and the outer circumference at the edge) by at least 75 if not 90 or 95% of a non-embossed lip bent in the same manner.

  • Patent number: 11517149
Abstract: A flower mill assembly grinds vegetation into ground vegetation. The flower mill assembly includes a container defining an opening and an interior chamber for holding vegetation before it is ground and for collecting ground vegetation after the vegetation is ground. A sifting screen is secured to the container within the interior chamber. The sifting screen allows the ground vegetation to pass therethrough while preventing the vegetation from passing therethrough. A knob covers the opening of the container to enclose the interior chamber. A rotor is secured to the knob. The rotor defines a grinding surface, a center axis, and at least one grinding channel, whereby the rotation of the rotor grinds the vegetation disposed adjacent the grinding surface and the at least one grinding channel.

  • Patent number: 11511284
Abstract: A pin mill includes a rotor plate mounted on a shaft and having concentrically spaced-apart circular arrays of pins arise from an end face. The rotor pins interdigitate with complementary concentric arrays of pins arising from a face of a stator mounted on a door. The door swings open on a hinge mounted on two translator pins so that the door can translate the interdigitated pins before swinging open so that the pins arrays do not collide with each other while the door is opening. The rotor operates within a rotatable cylindrical screen which retains particles being broken up until they are small enough to exit. The rotor includes a circular array of vane knives which sweep closely within the screen and also entrain cooling air into the macerating volume of the mill. Oversized particles trapped in the screen also get cleared and split apart by the passing vane knives.

  • Patent number: 11511894
Abstract: A cable tie application tool is described that includes an electro-mechanical tensioning system. When the electro-mechanical tensioning system is controlled by a processor to tighten a cable, a reactionary force through a drive nut that is pivotally mounted to a tension bar can be monitored and measured by a strain gauge, a load cell, or other sensing system. This reactionary force is an indication of tension on the cable tie and is monitored by the processor until the tension reaches a predetermined tension, at which point, the processor causes a motor in the tensioning system to stop increasing the tension on the cable tie. The processor activates a cut-off system to cut the cable tie that has been tightened to the predetermined tension.
