  • Patent number: 7428798
Abstract: A plant pot having a wider base than throat and which can be vertically separated into two substantially identical pieces is provided. The plant pot preferably comprises a first pot member and a second pot member that are capable of engaging and disengaging each other. Complementary edges on the first pot member and the second pot member allow such members to define a substantially continuous inner wall when the first pot member and the second pot member are engaged. At least one retainer extends about an outer surface of the plant pot to retain the first pot member and the second pot member in an engaged position. In one embodiment, the first pot member and the second pot member are identical such that they are manufactured from the same mold thereby reducing manufacturing costs and simplifying production of such plant pot.

  • Patent number: 7418923
Abstract: A weight sensitive squirrel proof bird feeder with multiple perch rods. In general, a feed reservoir includes perch rods positioned generally perpendicular to an outer surface of the feed reservoir. When a predetermined weight is placed upon the perches, the perches rotate about their longitudinal axis by a motor thereby expelling the source of the weight, typically squirrels or other undesirable animals from the perches.

  • Patent number: 7406798
Abstract: A floral arranging vase cover provides enhanced decoration and for supporting floral arrangements within a vase. The floral arranging cover includes a circular ring, inner bands and outer bands. Preferably, the floral arranging cover includes four to twelve inner bands which are arcuate in shape and have first and second ends which rotatably affix to the circular ring. The outer bands are also arcuate in shape and include first and second ends which attach to the circular ring. Preferably, the outer bands project outwardly from the ring and are arranged in an overlapping manner. Moreover, the outer bands are preferably affixed to adjacent bands to prevent their rotation about the circular ring. The floral arranging cover is placed upon a vase with the circular ring substantially adjacent to the vases' rim. The inner bands project inwardly to form a grid-like structure having openings for floral and plant stems.

  • Patent number: 7407114
Abstract: An air freshening apparatus comprises a plant pot-shaped main body, an end cap body and a scent-emitting composition. The plant pot-shaped main body has a cavity therein defining an open end portion of the plant pot-shaped main body and a closed end portion of the plant pot-shaped main body. The scented air passage extends through the closed end portion of the plant pot-shaped main body. The end cap body is rotatably mounted on an exterior portion of the plant pot-shaped main body. The end cap body has a scented air passage extending therethrough and the end cap body is movable between a position where the scented air passages are at least partially aligned and a position where the scented air passages are fully misaligned. The scent-emitting composition is disposed within the cavity of the plant pot-shaped main body.
