  • Patent number: 9217265
Abstract: A joint lock comprises a lock body and a joint bar hoop, wherein the lock body accommodates a lock cylinder and a latch which is selectably movable by the lock cylinder from a locked position into a release position and wherein the joint bar hoop comprises a plurality of joint bars pivotally linked to one another, wherein a first end of the joint bar hoop has an elongate closing bar which can be introduced into an introduction opening of the lock body and which can be locked in the lock body by means of the latch. The joint lock is characterized in that the lock body furthermore accommodates a preloading device which preloads the latch into the locking position, with the latch being temporarily movable against the preloading from the locking position into the release position by introduction of the locking bar into the lock body, with the preloading device being adapted to move the latch back into the locking position again when the locking bar is completely introduced into the lock body.

  • Patent number: 9200477
Abstract: A lock, which is designed as a panic lock for a door of freezing room, includes a chassis (1, 2) and a latch bolt (3), which is displaceably guided into the chassis, impinged upon by a spring force in the direction of extension and beveled at least on one side. A two-part nut is rotationally mounted inside the lock. The inside part is able to be actuated by an inner operating lever, including an inner catch which enables the latch bolt (3) to be actuated at least in the insertion direction. An outer nut part (7), which can be actuated by an outer operating lever, includes an outer catch (10) enabling the latch bolt (3) to be actuated in the insertion and extraction direction. When the operating lever is not actuated, structure (15, 16) places the catch (10) of the nut part (7) in a neutral position in which the catch (10) is not in contact with the latch bolt (3). Structure (21-24) are also provided for locking the outer catch (10) in the neutral position thereof.

  • Patent number: 9179786
Abstract: A foldable napper accessory for a child's playard positions an infant to minimize the risk of falls. The napper frame is foldable from a generally planar deplyed orientation about one or more generally longitudinally extending frame folding axes. The ends of an elongate support leg are pivotally connected to opposing side rail members of the napper frame and configured to be foldable about a leg folding axis generally transverse to the frame. Pivoting about the leg folding axis angles the support leg from the plane of the deployed napper frame or aligns the leg with the plane of the napper frame for stowage. An intermediate folding joint is provided in the support leg which includes intermediate axis generally perpendicular to the leg folding axis that allows folding of the leg only when the leg is folded into a specific orientation.

  • Patent number: 9175499
Abstract: A handle assembly of a lock includes a handle, a sleeve, a stopper and an engaging member, wherein the handle comprises an accommodating slot, a lodge hole and a penetrating hole. The sleeve is disposed at the accommodating slot along the direction of a major axis and comprises a through hole. The stopper is disposed at the sleeve and protrudes to the sleeve via the through hole of the sleeve. Owing to the through hole corresponded to the lodge hole, the stopper is lodged in the lodge hole of the handle. The engaging member is disposed in the accommodating slot and adjustably movable along the direction of a transverse axis so that the handle and the sleeve are steadily engaged from each other.

  • Patent number: 9127481
Abstract: A mechanical barrier recipient verification system including a combination lock assembly having a housing carrying a combination lock mechanism. The housing forms an aperture. The lock mechanism selectively receives and captures a post inserted through the aperture. Further the lock mechanism is configured to provide combination unset and set states; unlocked and locked positions; and correctly and incorrectly entered code arrangements. Following insertion of the post into the aperture and with the lock mechanism in the locked position, the post is retained by the lock mechanism regardless of the correctly or incorrectly entered code arrangement.

  • Patent number: 9121200
Abstract: A lockset has an actuator unit, a mounting unit and a latch retractor mechanism. The mounting unit attaches the lockset to a door and supports the actuator unit and latch retractor mechanism. The actuator unit includes inside and outside door knobs and a cam mechanism that move together within the mounting unit. During rotational movement, a first cam of the cam mechanism engages the latch retractor mechanism to retract the latch. The actuator is axially movable along an axis of the actuator unit when one of the knobs is pushed or pulled. During axial movement, a second cam of the cam mechanism engages the latch retractor mechanism to retract the latch. A locking mechanism is selectively actuable to act between the actuator unit and the mounting unit to prevent both rotational and axial movement of the actuator unit relative to the mounting unit, thereby locking the lockset.
