Abstract: Generative media content (e.g., generative audio) can be played back across multiple playback devices concurrently. A coordinator device can receive a multi-channel stream of media content, with at least some channels comprising generative media content. The coordinator device transmits each of the channels to a plurality of playback devices. A first playback device plays back a first subset of the channels according to first playback responsibilities and a second playback device plays back a second subset of the channels according to second playback responsibilities. The first and/or second playback responsibilities can be dynamically modified over time, for example in response to one or more input parameters.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a video processing method for an application, and an electronic device. The method comprises: during a video editing process, receiving an editing instruction for audio; in response to the editing instruction, acquiring the duration of the audio and a time parameter of a video; when the duration of the audio and the time parameter of the video meet a preset condition, displaying a repeat play control in an audio editing page; when it is detected that the repeat play control is turned on, repeatedly configuring the audio within a time range represented by the time parameter of the video; and when it is detected that the repeat play control is turned off, not repeatedly configuring the audio within the time range represented by the time parameter of the video.

Abstract: In some embodiments, a method detects an issue with broadcast tuning parameters for broadcast channels being broadcast by a broadcast system. A message is received including a set of switched digital video tuning parameters for switched digital video channels from a switched digital video system where the broadcast tuning parameters are included in the message. The method retrieves at least a portion of the broadcast tuning parameters that are received via the switched digital video system and uses the at least a portion of the broadcast tuning parameters received in the message to request a broadcast channel from the broadcast system.

Abstract: A method, computer program product, and computer system for redacting information in a video stream. The method includes accessing content of an original video stream and classifying sensitive data within the original video stream as classified data components of one or more of multiple permission categories. The method provides sub-streams of the classified data components for one or more permission categories. The method redacts the classified data components in the original video stream and combines the redacted video stream with one or more of the sub-streams to output a combined video stream depending on the access permissions of an endpoint.

Abstract: A system is provided that includes a plurality of nodes and a plurality of instances of a distributed media rights transaction ledger associated with the plurality of the nodes. The plurality of nodes includes a first node associated with a first participant and a second node associated with a second participant. The first node interacts with the second node based on a defined protocol in a communication network. The first node receives a request for playback of a media content from a content consumer associated with a consumer device. The second node provides media content rights associated with media content to at least one of the first participant or the content consumer. Each instance of the distributed media rights transaction ledger includes a plurality of media content rights transactions corresponding to at least an acquisition of the media content rights by the first participant or the content consumer.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture to extend a time range supported by a watermark are disclosed. Example watermark encoding apparatus disclosed herein determine which one of a plurality of timestamp cycles is to be represented by a timestamp of a watermark. Disclosed example apparatus also swap at least two symbols of the watermark when the timestamp is to represent a second one of the timestamp cycles, but do not swap the at least two symbols of the watermark when the timestamp is to represent a first one of the timestamp cycles. Disclosed example apparatus further embed the watermark in a first piece of media.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a video processing method and apparatus, a device and a storage medium, wherein the method comprises: in response to determining that a target video has been played for a preset duration, displaying a preset activity resource corresponding to the target video and a video generation control on a video playing page of the target video, wherein the target video belongs to a video information stream; and in response to a triggering operation on the video generation control, generating an activity video corresponding to the target video based on the preset activity resource.

Abstract: A media docking device includes an input module, an output module and a processing module. The input module is electrically connected to a media source device for receiving media data. The output module is electrically connected to a media play device. The processing module determines if an instruction is received from the media source device or a remote device. If the instruction is not received, the processing module transfers the media data to the output module to transmit to the media play device. If the instruction is received, the processing module limits a transmission of the media data according to the instruction, such that the media data will not be completely played by the media play device.

Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed herein for a media guidance application that enhances the viewer experience by providing supplemental content related to a media asset during a fast-access playback operation. For example, in response to a user input during a fast-forward or rewind operation, the media guidance application may generate for display supplemental content related to the progression point of the media asset at which the user input was received while the fast-forward or rewind operation continues.

Abstract: A content management system and method for use of same is disclosed. In one embodiment of the system, the set-top box is configured to receive a source signal which includes a stream of network programming having time slots interposed therein. The set-top box detects signaling data indicative of a designated time slot within the network programming and responsive thereto, interposes content stored at the set-top box at the designated time slot within the network programming. The set-top box then forwards the interposed content to the display. Following the forwarding of the interposed content, the set-top box returns to receiving network programming and forwarding the network programming to the display. The set-top box also provides confirmation of the displayed interposed content to a server, which may map the confirmation information.

Abstract: Systems and methods for managing available bandwidth in a household are provided. A request to access a first media asset is received. A determination is made as to whether a bandwidth currently available in the household is sufficient for enabling access to the first media asset. When the bandwidth currently available in the household is insufficient for enabling access to the first media asset, a search is performed for a second media asset currently consuming a portion of the household bandwidth needed for enabling access to the first media asset. A third media asset is identified having a remaining duration that is more than a remaining duration of the second media asset. A message is displayed that indicates the bandwidth currently available in the household is insufficient to access the first media asset and that has an option to access the third media asset instead of the first media asset.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for providing information about events occurring in media content that was previously accessed. A display of a progress bar including segments for the events in the previously accessed content is provided in the screen view of current media being accessed. The progress bar segments may be selected to access the content. Upon conclusion of the content, an image and text about the content may be supplied to the viewer to post on social media about the content.
