Abstract: A data structure of a control information for use with a computer-readable recording medium having multiple recording layers. The control information includes first information unit for a first recording layer and second information unit for a second recording layer. The first information unit includes write strategy parameters for a first write strategy type to be used for the first recording layer, and the second information unit includes write strategy parameters for a second write strategy type to be used for the second recording layer. The second write strategy type being the same or different from the first write strategy type.
