Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, and computer-readable media are set forth for receiving an image definition from a client device, the image definition identifying one or more packages to be deployed within an image, each of the one or more packages including an exploration and production computer program, automatically building an image using the image definition, the image including the one or more packages, and deploying an operating environment including an instance of the image.
Abstract: Rules-driven service management using entangled qubits in quantum computing systems is disclosed. In one example, a first quantum computing device maintains a first qubit entangled with a corresponding second qubit of a second quantum computing device. Upon detecting an occurrence of a trigger condition, the first quantum computing device identifies a quantum operation corresponding to the trigger condition. The first quantum computing device then performs the quantum operation corresponding to the trigger condition on the first qubit. Concurrently with the first quantum computing device performing the quantum operation, the second quantum computing device observes a quantum state of the second qubit. The second quantum computing device identifies a responsive action that corresponds to the quantum state of the second qubit, and performs the responsive action.
Abstract: In an example, there is disclosed a computing apparatus, having: a data interface to communicatively couple to a storage pool having a plurality of disks; a virtual machine manager including a processor; and a storage coprocessor (SCP) to: create a read queue and write queue for the disks in the storage pool; receive an input/output (IO) operation from a virtual machine, the IO operation directed to a storage address located on a disk in the storage pool; and add the IO operation to the queue for the disk.
