  • Patent number: 11607235
Abstract: Provided is an intra-abdominal tissue retrieval bag. The bag has an inflated state and a deflated state. The bag is introduced into the abdomen in a deflated state through a small incision and placed underneath the specimen to be retrieved. The bag is defined by an inflatable defining circumferential ring at the opening and an inflatable collection sac. Both inflated using external pneumo source sequentially, the same that is used to maintain pneumoperitoneum during laparoscopic surgery. After insufflation, the specimen becomes fully contained and ready for retrieval after desufflation.

  • Patent number: 11604947
Abstract: Implementations are described herein for automatically generating quasi-realistic synthetic training images that are usable as training data for training machine learning models to perceive various types of plant traits in digital images. In various implementations, multiple labeled simulated images may be generated, each depicting simulated and labeled instance(s) of a plant having a targeted plant trait. In some implementations, the generating may include stochastically selecting features of the simulated instances of plants from a collection of plant assets associated with the targeted plant trait. The collection of plant assets may be obtained from ground truth digital image(s). In some implementations, the ground truth digital image(s) may depict real-life instances of plants having the target plant trait.

  • Patent number: 11600386
Abstract: Medical software tools platforms utilize a surgical display to provide access to specific medical software tools, such as medically-oriented applications or widgets, that can assist surgeons or surgical team in performing various procedures. In particular, an endoscopic camera may register the momentary rise in the optical signature reflected from a tissue surface and in turn transmit it to a medical image processing system which can also receive patient heart rate data and display relevant anomalies. Changes in various spectral components and the speed at which they change in relation to a source of stimulus (heartbeat, breathing, light source modulation, etc.) may indicate the arrival of blood, contrast agents or oxygen absorption. Combinations of these may indicate various states of differing disease or margins of tumors, and so forth. Also, changes in temperatures, physical dimensions, pressures, photoacoustic pressures and the rate of change may indicate tissue anomalies in comparison to historic values.

A binary mask may be generated based on the matched-filter image. The binary mask may include a plurality of bits each of which including a first value or a second value based on whether a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) associated with that bit satisfies a threshold condition. Output data may be generated based on the spatial background-difference image and the binary mask, where the output data provides observations on detected space objects in orbit.
