  • Patent number: 11507957
Abstract: A real-time fraud prevention system enables merchants and commercial organizations on-line to assess and protect themselves from high-risk users. A centralized database is configured to build and store dossiers of user devices and behaviors collected from subscriber websites in real-time. Real, low-risk users have webpage click navigation behaviors that are assumed to be very different than those of fraudsters. Individual user devices are distinguished from others by hundreds of points of user-device configuration data each independently maintains. A client agent provokes user devices to volunteer configuration data when a user visits respective webpages at independent websites. A collection of comprehensive dossiers of user devices is organized by their identifying information, and used calculating a fraud score in real-time. Each corresponding website is thereby assisted in deciding whether to allow a proposed transaction to be concluded with the particular user and their device.

  • Patent number: 11488183
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for determining an estimate of available user impressions on a network, comprising receiving a request for an estimate of available user impressions for viewing one or more media elements on a network, the request comprising one or more viewer demographic group limitations. A request may be received to include deterministic users and probabilistic users in the estimate of available user impressions. A number of deterministic users may be determined based on query results from a deterministic user data set. A number of probabilistic users may be determined based on query results from a probabilistic user data set, and the estimate of available user impressions may be determined based on the number of deterministic users and the number of probabilistic users.

The observable data points may be part of an overall strategy in a digital observation campaign established by an observation campaign coordinator. One aspect of this method is determining, with some certainly, that an observed advertisement originated from an advertising campaign. Thus, the advertising observation platform is capable of surveying several media files (e.g., image files, sound files, video files) that are presented as ads within the context of web pages served to browsers of Internet content.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media (transitory and non-transitory) are provided herein for automated submission for solicited application slots. In various embodiments, a digital component source process executing on a first computing system may determine a device identifier associated with an application slot to be populated with digital component(s). The application slot may be solicited by a digital component liaison process executing on the first computing system or a second computing system. The digital component source process may retrieve application slot attainment parameter(s) associated with the device identifier. The application slot attainment parameter(s) may be generated based on location ordinal(s) associated with the device identifier. The digital component source process may determine, based on the retrieved application slot attainment parameters, a submission to populate the application slot with a particular digital component item.
