  • Patent number: 11842867
Abstract: A multi-mode air compressor pressure switch is disclosed. A first mode of operation of the switch has a first range that includes a first cut-out pressure and a first cut-in pressure. A second mode of operation of the switch has a second range that includes a second cut-out pressure and a second cut-in pressure. The second range is smaller than the first range. The second mode of operation adds compressor output over the first mode of operation to extend operable time of a tool that is connected to a compressor that is controlled by the first mode and the second mode.

  • Patent number: 11821420
Abstract: An electric pump system and method of operating the same involves pumping a fluid through a fluid passageway defined in a mechanical pump from a pump inlet to a hollow shaft of a motor, through the hollow shaft to an internal motor cavity defined by a housing of the motor, and through another fluid passageway defined in the motor housing and mechanical pump that leads to a pump outlet. The system and method further involve pumping the fluid through another fluid passageway defined in the mechanical pump from yet another pump inlet to the pump outlet. The temperature of fluid exiting the hollow shaft can be assessed and used by an electronic control unit (ECU) of the electric pump system to control the same. The electric pump system can be part of a cooling and lubrication system for an electric vehicle transmission, gearbox, differential or transfer case, for example.

  • Patent number: 11802551
Abstract: Disclosed is a dual-stage fluidics system that has reduced pulsation. This system uses inexpensive peristaltic pumps and two reservoirs that dampen pulsations in pressure. Peristaltic pumps are used as air pressure pumps and sheath fluid pumps that are placed between the two pressurized reservoirs and isolate the two reservoirs. Since the two reservoirs are maintained at a substantially even pressure, pulsations are reduced so that the peristaltic pumps essentially provide air flow and sheath fluid flow as needed.

  • Patent number: 11802556
Abstract: A high pressure gas lift compressor system and method of using the system for supplying compressed gas to multiple wells are provided. The system includes a compressor having multiple compressor cylinders. Each cylinder has its own gas inlet line and dedicated gas outlet line that supplies compressed gas from that cylinder directly to a wellbore to provide artificial gas lift. Each cylinder also has its own control valve upstream of the cylinder to control the suction pressure to the cylinder. A desired gas flow rate to each well may be input, and the control valve is adjusted accordingly to achieve the flow rate. By inputting a flow rate for each separate cylinder, the flow rate to each well may be independently controlled.

  • Patent number: 11754084
Abstract: A motor drive control device has a control circuit that generates a drive control signal for controlling a rotational speed of a motor based on a speed command signal indicating a target rotational speed of the motor, and a motor driving unit that drives the motor based on the drive control signal. The control circuit performs speed feedback control for generating the drive control signal so that the rotational speed of the motor coincides with the target rotational speed when the target rotational speed is lower than a rotational speed threshold value, and generates the drive control signal based on a relationship between current flowing through the motor and a reference current value when the target rotational speed is higher than the rotational speed threshold value.

  • Patent number: 11746793
Abstract: A fan includes an annular frame, a rail assembly, a driving member and blades. The blades are connected to the driving member. The driving member is electromagnetically movable along the magnetic levitation assembly that extends along an edge of the annular frame. The driving member does not contact the annular frame or the magnetic levitation assembly so that when the fan is used, the magnetic levitation assembly is energized to generate an electromagnetic force between the magnetic levitation assembly and the driving member to move the driving member along the edge of the annular frame to drive the blades to rotate. Therefore, the blades can be rotated without having to use any motor behind the annular frame, thereby reducing the volume of the fan.
