Abstract: A vibration mechanism (300) for shaking a tree trunk held between two clamps, for an efficient harvest of the tree-fruits and for preventing damage to the tree-roots and to the tree trunk. The vibration unit comprises two counter-rotating rotors (R) weighted by displaceable weights (18, 19) and powered, preferably, by at least one hydraulic motor (M). A transmission (T) coupled to the motor and to the rotors, counter-rotates the rotors.

Abstract: An apparatus suitable for using a landscape tool around an obstacle in association with a driver. The apparatus comprises: a frame adapted to operatively connect the apparatus to a transport device, a traveler, an open-centered support having a gap therein, the support being secured to the frame and being adapted to slidably engage the traveler; an engager adapted to operatively connect the traveler to a driver permitting the driver to cause the traveler to slide along the support, and a laterally adjustable tool attachment bracket secured to the traveler and adapted to receive the landscape tool. In operation, the apparatus is presented to the obstacle such that the obstacle passes through the gap into the open center of the support, whereupon the engager engages the driver and the traveler slides along the support, such that the tool moves around the obstacle.

Abstract: A machine for mowing stalk-type crops includes a crop conveyor wheel mounted for rotation about an approximately vertical axis and provided with recesses that are distributed over its circumference and designed as receptacles for plant stalks. A stationary shield is fixed directly above the conveyor wheel and includes an outer region located above an outer portion of the conveyor wheel just inwardly of the recesses of the surface of the conveyor wheel. In order to improve the crop transport and to prevent the loss of corn cobs, the shield is provided with an arcuate cutout located between the outer region and an inner region of the shield, the cutout having an open end located adjacent to the crop flow received by the machine.

Abstract: An implement/vehicle hitch system for coupling implements to a utility vehicle includes two hydraulic cylinders for adjusting the position of the implement. The hydraulic cylinders are connected to a pair of motor/pump units which cause the hydraulic cylinders to operate in a synchronous manner.
