Abstract: Media, methods, and systems are provided for scheduling a scheduled event within a synchronous multimedia collaboration session within a group-based communication system. A selected start time and a selected time duration may be received such that one or more users are added to the synchronous multimedia collaboration session within a channel of the group-based communication system at or near the selected start time. Upon expiration of the selected time duration, the one or more users may be automatically removed from the synchronous multimedia collaboration session to prevent the scheduled event from extending beyond an allocated time.

The apparatus monitor a multiparty stream communication, wherein the multiparty stream communication includes a first and a second packet series to generate, retrieve, and compare data elements. Training data is filtered and categorized into specific sub-populations, increasing relevance to particular subjects of analysis. These tailored datasets optimize machine learning models, resulting in more precise comprehension assessment.

Abstract: A system and method for providing a service management engine for use with a cloud computing environment. In accordance with an embodiment, enterprise software applications (e.g., Fusion Middleware applications) can be instantiated as services within a cloud platform, where they are then made accessible by other (e.g., customer) applications. In an embodiment, a service management engine (SME), in communication with an orchestration engine, can be used to provision services as one or more different service types, according to a service definition package (SDP). Service types can be instantiated according to the configuration of the cloud platform itself, and the contents of the SDP, including discovering, provisioning, and associating service types with system resources, to address different customer requirements.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to measuring and managing data traffic in one or more networks. In some embodiments, a monitor may measure the traffic at one or more locations within the network(s) or devices associated therewith to determine whether the traffic exceeds a threshold. When the traffic exceeds the threshold, one or more actions may be taken, such as issuing or transmitting a command or directive. The command or directive may advise a device or an application to throttle or reduce an input or stimulus responsible for generating the traffic. In some embodiments, a throttling may be effectuated to reduce the data traffic.

Abstract: Techniques for selective video conference segmentation are described and are implementable in a video conference setting. The described implementations enable control over segments of video content that are viewable by a given participant in a video conference. For instance, segments of video content are generated that represent spatial portions of video content captured by a host device. The segments can be configured in a variety of ways for inclusion in one or more video streams. The video streams can be communicated to different participants within the video conference, for instance based on a status of a given participant, thus providing different fields of view to different participants.
