Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed that implement cloud functionality in a cloud agnostic system. An example apparatus includes: at least one memory; instructions in the apparatus; and processor circuitry to execute the instructions to: generate a blueprint including components of requested cloud resources and their relationships; provide an allocation flag to the blueprint, the allocation flag indicating the requested cloud resources are to be partially provisioned; transmit a first provisioning request to a cloud management platform, the cloud management platform to manage a plurality of cloud resources; and in response to the cloud management platform selecting cloud resources, transmit a second provisioning request to fully provision the selected cloud resources, the second provisioning request including constraints specific to the selected cloud resources.

Abstract: A smart forms solution that enables transactions institutions to provide configuration parameters in a streamlined manner so that developers can construct end-to-end solutions in an automated manner includes performing, by a processor, operations including: receiving data from a form in a webpage; validating the received data; saving the validated data; determining a location to send the saved data; sending the saved data to the determined location; invoking an API at the determined location with the saved data; and using the saved data to perform a manual operation.

Abstract: Techniques are described for managing preloading of data for client computing systems. A client computing system may provide one or more persistent data storage caches on local storage, such as to support a particular software program executing on the client computing system (e.g., a Web browser program, with the persistent data storage cache designed to store browser cookies and other data for later access by the Web browser program). Additional data may be stored in such a persistent data storage cache by preloading those data groups before they are requested by the client computing system (e.g., based on interactions of a user of the client computing system with an executing program on the client computing system). Particular data groups to preload may be selected in various manners, including to provide a specified type of minimum functionality to a client computing system based on the preloaded data groups.

Abstract: A communication method, apparatus, and system, the method including sending, by a policy control network element, policy control information to a network device, where the policy control information includes a trigger event for reporting transport network information, and where the trigger event triggers the network device to report the transport network information to the policy control network element, receiving, by the policy control network element, the transport network information from the network device, formulating, by the policy control network element, a control policy based on the transport network information, and sending, by the policy control network element, the control policy to the network device.

Abstract: Video data signals are encoded such that the encoded video data signal comprises at least a primary and at least a secondary video data signal. The primary and secondary video data signal are jointly compressed. The primary video data signal is compressed in a self-contained manner, and the secondary video data signal is compressed using data from the primary video data signal. The jointly compressed video data signal is split into separate bitstreams, at least a primary bitstream comprising data for the primary video data signal and at least a secondary bitstream comprising data for the secondary video data signal, whereafter the primary and secondary bitstreams are multiplexed into a multiplexed signal, and the primary and secondary signals are provided with separate codes.

Abstract: A process for configuring hardware in a network environment, comprising retrieving a catalog index using a processor, selecting a catalog for a new hardware component, selecting a plurality of software applications for the new hardware product from the catalog, determining a context for the new hardware component, wherein the context identifies one or more variable parameters for one or more of a plurality of software applications and installing the plurality of software applications on the hardware product as a function of the context.

Abstract: Methods and systems for creating a multi-applicant account profile are described. During a first remote session, a first applicant provides at least two pieces of contact data for second applicant. A unique link and a one-time password are transmitted to the second applicant using respective first and second pieces of contact data. A second remote session is initiated, in response to receipt of the one-time password, provided via the unique link. During the second remote session, identification information of the second applicant is provided. A new multi-applicant account profile is then created, after verifying the identification information of the first applicant and the second applicant.

Abstract: A method may include validating an execution plan specifying one or more configurations to apply to an information technology infrastructure. The execution plan may be validated by at least determining a structural validity of the configurations of the execution plan. In response to the configurations of the execution plan being determined to be structurally valid, the validation of the execution plan may further include determining whether the information technology infrastructure satisfies a policy if the configurations specified in the execution plan are applied to the information technology infrastructure. In response to a successful validation of the execution plan, the one or more configurations specified in the execution plan may be applied to the information technology infrastructure by at least provisioning, modifying, and/or de-provisioning one or more resources at the information technology infrastructure.

Abstract: Elastic message tracking apparatus and methods are provided that opportunistically improve on the latency of a message processing system and increase the accuracy of a consolidated message stream generated from message streams received from multiple message sources. The elastic message tracking apparatus and methods reduce that latency in situations where the actual latency of all the message streams is lower than a predetermined latency value.

Abstract: Systems and methods of managing content and content requests are described. A data store of profiles of potential content contributors is provided. A request from a first source for content comprising content criteria is received, the content criteria comprising content contributor characteristics and content subject matter. Based on the content contributor characteristics and the profiles, at least a first potential content contributor is identified. At least a portion of the content request content criteria is transmitted to the first potential content contributor. If recorded content is received from the first content contributor, the first source is provided with access to the received recorded content. At least partly in response to acceptance by the first source of the received recorded content, the first source is enabled to publish the accepted received recorded content.

Abstract: A resource allocation calculation device includes: a demand prediction unit that for each of a plurality of virtual networks sharing a physical network, predicts demands in units of communications sharing common origin and destination nodes; and an allocation calculation unit that based on the demands predicted by the demand prediction unit, observed past demands in the units of communications and past allocated bandwidths in the units of communications, calculates allocated bandwidths and allocated routes at a current time for the respective units of communications in such a manner that fairness between utilities of the respective virtual networks is maximized, which enhances fairness and efficiency of allocation of resources to a plurality of virtual networks sharing resources of a physical network.

Abstract: A virtual content creation method according to an embodiment of the present invention includes, by a server, receiving a model content including at least one of a text, an SMS, a voice-recorded MP3 file, a picture, and a video of a model; by the server, extracting a model feature including at least one of a text feature, a voice feature, an image feature, and a video feature from the model content; and when a user wants to communicate with the model, by the server, being operated based on deep learning or artificial intelligence to allow the user to input a user content to the server, determine a user state by detecting an emotional state of the user from the user content, and transform the model content into the virtual content using the model feature or the user state.

Abstract: A network device in a Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC) cluster may receive a request for a service that requires use of a resource of a first type; and determine whether a resource utilization level, associated with the resource, at a MEC device in the MEC cluster exceeds a threshold. When the network device determines that the resource utilization level exceeds the threshold, the network device may determine whether a candidate MEC device is available within the MEC cluster to provide a resource of the first type; and enable the service to be provided.

Abstract: Techniques for accessing a file involve determining whether a client requests a permission for a target file, the permission allowing the client to cache data associated with the target file. The techniques further involve in response to determining that the client requests the permission, obtaining pattern information related to an access pattern in which the client accesses the target file. The techniques further involve determining availability of the permission to the client by applying the pattern information to a decision model, the decision model being trained based on training pattern information and training permission information. The techniques further involve providing, to the client, an indication on the availability. Accordingly, access conflicts can be reduced, so that the performance of the client and server can be improved.

Abstract: The disclosed computer-implemented method for consistently applying rules to messages may include (i) identifying a user account on a message server that comprises both unarchived messages to which message rules are applied by default and archived messages to which the message rules are not applied by default, (ii) detecting a new message rule that specifies an action to be performed on relevant messages within the user account on the message server, (iii) locating at least one archived message within the user account on the message server to which the new message rule applies, and (iv) applying the new message rule to the at least one archived message by performing the specified action on the at least one archived message. Various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

Abstract: Management and configuration of internet of things network connected devices is facilitated herein. A proxy device comprises a memory that stores executable instructions that, when executed by a processor, facilitate performance of operations that comprise determining a first identity and a first operational parameter of a first device and a second identity and a second operational parameter of a second device. The first device and the second device can be associated with a defined communication network. The proxy device can be provisioned within the defined communication network and can operate as a security update proxy node for the first device and the second device. The operations can also comprise facilitating a first security update at the first device and a second security update at the second device based on a determination that the first device and the second device have delegated responsibility for security synchronization to the proxy device.

Abstract: An approach for updating one or more serverless runtime configurations based on predicting usage patterns of a serverless computing cluster is disclosed. The approach includes collecting one or more attributes associated with an application on a serverless computing cluster and a user of the application and analyzing the one or more collected attributes. Furthermore, the approach includes predicting one or more usage patterns based the analyzing and updating one or more serverless runtime configurations based on the one or more usage patterns.
