  • Patent number: 8434647
Abstract: The present invention discloses a device for measuring and dispensing a prescribed amount of liquid. The advantage of the present device is that a simple squeezing action not only reliably and precisely stores a prescribed volume of liquid (e.g., a liquid cooking ingredient, beverage (such as wine or liquor) but then subsequently upon an additional squeeze, discharges the stored liquid while refilling the dose chamber with another dose of the prescribed volume to be later discharged upon the next squeezing action. This eliminates the time consuming tasks of having to measure liquids with conventional measuring cups and the like and instead, the user simple initially adds liquid to the container and then places the cover and measuring and dispensing mechanism on top of the container prior to performed successive squeezing for loading and discharging the dose volume.

  • Patent number: 8408430
Abstract: Described is a fluid dispensing container having a bottle and fluid withdrawing assembly for liquids, such as liquid cleaners and the like. The bottle has an integral dip tube formed therein connecting at a landing below the top of the bottle neck, fluidly connecting the inside of the bottle with the top opening of the bottle. A fluid dispensing mechanism, such as a remote trigger sprayer, is attached to the top of the bottle to take fluid up through the integral dip tube and dispense the fluid accordingly. The fluid dispensing mechanism may be aligned to allow a direct connection between integral dip tube and the fluid dispensing mechanism at a landing below the bottle opening. The fluid dispensing mechanism may be attached to the bottle with a snap-fit connection.

  • Patent number: 8376183
Abstract: A fluid dispenser for containing multiple portions of flowable material in multiple chambers separated by dividers includes a dispensing passageway at one of the chambers, with each divider having an openable region to permit flow of fluid from an adjacent chamber into the chamber having the dispensing passageway so that only a selected portion of flowable material may be expunged from the container at a time, without all of the contents reaching the dispensing passageway until such time as it is desired. The user may select the quantity of material to be dispensed and may squeeze the chamber or chambers to break or open the desired or appropriate number of dividers to dispense the desired or appropriate quantity of flowable material through the dispensing passageway of the container. Optionally, each chamber may have a respective dispensing passageway that is openable to dispense the contents of the respective chamber.

  • Patent number: 8342365
Abstract: An automatic touch-free dispenser provides dose dispensing of a product from a pressurized can by sensing or detecting the presence of a user's hands, and an actuator assembly which tilts the nozzle on the can in response to such detection, to thereby dispense product from the can. The can may hold a healthcare product, such as a sanitizer, food product, or any other fluid product pressurized in a can. The actuator assembly includes a DC motor which drives a cam, which in turn pushes an actuator lever into the nozzle for a certain dispensing time. The number of doses, detection range, and motor speed, can be adjusted.

  • Patent number: 8245884
Abstract: An airless type cosmetics vessel, in which, in order to suck a gel type cosmetic from a vessel body into a cylinder chamber, an axial valve primarily opens an inlet passage and closes an outlet passage according to stepwise upward movement of a piston and an axial valve, and the piston is further moved upwards, thus sucking the cosmetic into the cylinder chamber, and, in order to discharge the cosmetic from the cylinder chamber, the axial valve is primarily moved downwards so as to close the inlet passage and open the outlet passage, and the piston is further moved downwards, thus compressing the cosmetic in the cylinder chamber and discharging the cosmetic from the chamber, so that a precise cosmetic suction and discharge operation can be executed by the stepwise suction and discharge actions of the axial valve and the piston, separately provided, without malfunctioning.

  • Patent number: 8235250
Abstract: A dispenser includes a flexible outer tube, a flexible inner tube in the outer tube, a plunger switch, a spring biased valve assembly having a rotation actuator, and a cap. After cap removal, a rotation of the rotation actuator enables an extrusion of a material in the outer tube out of the spout of the valve assembly via a material dispensation tunnel of the rotation actuator when the outer tube is depressed. A further rotation of the rotation actuator enables an extrusion of a material in the inner tube out of the spout of the valve assembly via the material dispensation tunnel when the outer tube is depressed. A still further rotation of the rotation actuator enables a mixed extrusion of the materials in both the inner and outer tubes out of the spout of the valve assembly via the material dispensation tunnel when the outer tube is depressed.
