Abstract: Disclosed is an aqueous composition having viscosity from 1 to 100 cP at 20° C., said composition comprising: (i) an oligodynamic metal or ions thereof; (ii) a chelating agent; and, (iii) free alkali less than 1 wt %, wherein said composition comprises 0.01 wt % to 2 wt % of a salt of an organic acid; pH of the composition is from 9 to 12 and molar ratio of said oligodynamic metal to said chelating agent is 1:0.25 to 1:10. The composition provides a robust solution for technical problems of discoloration and instability.
Abstract: A powdered abrasive cleanser that exhibits superior soil removal properties and surface safety is provided. The cleanser includes a surfactant, an optional source of active chlorine, a borax pentahydrate compound that is preferably sodium tetraborate pentahydrate, and optionally an alkaline detergent builder and/or calcium carbonate.

Abstract: A detergent composition comprising:(A) glycerol derivative having the following Formula (I) ##STR1## (B) a water-soluble polyhydric alcohol; and (C) at least one surfactant selected from the group consisting of an anionic surfactant, wherein component (A) and component (C) are in a ratio of from 2:1 to 1:100 by weight. When the detergent composition is used to clean skin, the skin remains moisturized after cleaning without stickiness or tackiness and without excess degreasing or dryness.
Abstract: A solid, block detergent containing an alkali metal salt of nitrilotriacetic acid, an acid, alkali metal containing hydroxides and silicates, and alkali metal containing carbonates and sulfates is taught. A process for producing the block detergent is also taught.
