  • Patent number: 11694673
Abstract: Systems and methods for automated communication with Air Traffic Control. The system comprises a processor and memory. The memory stores instructions to execute a method. The method includes receiving audio communication input from an air traffic controller (ATC). The audio communication input is then converted into text input. Next, an aircraft keyword is detected in the text input. The text input is then parsed and one or more data structures are generated from the parsed input. In some examples, the one or more data structures includes command data for controlling the aircraft. Next, the command data in the one or more data structures is verified. The one or more data structures are then transmitted to an onboard flight computer of the aircraft. Last, the one or more data structures are stored in a conversation memory.

  • Patent number: 11687730
Abstract: The present disclosure describes a system, method, and computer program for automatically discovering goals from conversations using neural networks and deep multi-view clustering. A dataset of conversations is partitioned into two views. Vector representations of each view are then generated and clustered in an alternating fashion between views for a number of iterations (i.e., the system alternates between views in generating and clustering vector representations of a view). A first neural network encoder generates the vector representations for the first view, and a second neural network encoder generates the vector representations for the second view. With each semi-iteration, cluster assignments from one view are used to update the encoder for the other view, thus encouraging the two neural network encoders to yield similar cluster assignments.

  • Patent number: 11501767
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for operating a motor vehicle having an operating device, which includes a speech recognition and language determination device. A recognition of a voice input of a user of the motor vehicle, and a check as to whether a language of the voice input corresponds to the first operating language take place in a first operating mode with a first operating language. Depending on a result of the checking process, a confidence value is assigned to the voice input, which describes a probability with which the language of the voice input is the second operating language. Depending on the assigned confidence value, a query signal is generated, which describes a request, understandable in a second operating language, to the user for indicating the operating mode to be set or the operating language to be set. In response to a received operating signal, the operating mode to be set or the operating language to be set are set.
