Abstract: A payment accessory device is operatively coupled to a smart speaker. The smart speaker provides a voice-implemented personal assistant software service. A method of operating the payment accessory device includes communicating with a remote server computer via a mobile device. The purpose of the communication is for the mobile device to receive a payment token. The payment token is provisioned from the mobile device to the payment accessory device while positioning the mobile device in proximity to the payment accessory device. The provisioning of the payment token includes transfer of data from the mobile device to the payment accessory device.

Abstract: A virtualized blockchain forest includes a plurality of individual blockchains. Each individual blockchain of the plurality includes a blockchain height, a genesis block, and at least one additional block. The virtualized blockchain forest further includes a plurality of participating processors that make up a consensus pool, and a blockchain forest height having a time-sequenced start-to-finish length of blocks among the collective plurality of individual blockchains. The virtualized blockchain forest is configured to aggregate different ones of the plurality of individual blockchains, and is further configured to terminate individual ones of plurality of individual blockchains.

Abstract: A system for maintaining accurate health data and for providing rewards to data market participants. A marketplace platform based on Blockchain technology leverages smart contracts to provide rewards to sellers of data assets that provide corrections or updates to medical data, such as provider demographics. A URL API is provided to a buyer of the data with an encrypted password that is used to access the data from the URL API.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and media are provided for enabling encryption key distribution when a processor is in offline mode. When offline, key distribution servers can distribute private/public key pairs in place of the processor. The servers can distribute a private key to a first server for encryption of data and a public key to the processor, when it is online, to decrypt the data.

Abstract: A diamond asset comprising one or more diamonds and an encryption chip is used to asset-back a cryptographic token that can be used to conduct transactions. The cryptographic token is written to a blockchain using a smart contract that is configured to enable a transaction associated with the token in response to two or more of: a signature by the encryption chip, a signature by the owner of the diamond asset, and a validation of a visual layout of the diamond asset.

Abstract: A method for generation of an application cryptogram for use in a payment transaction includes: storing, in a first memory, a single use key associated with a transaction account; electronically transmitting the single use key to a processing server; receiving an encrypted session key and a server encryption key from the processing server; executing a first query to store the encrypted session key in the first memory and a second query to store the server encryption key in a second memory; decrypting the encrypted session key using the server encryption key; generating an application cryptogram based on the decrypted session key; and electronically transmitting the generated application cryptogram for use in a payment transaction.

Abstract: A method for optimized validation of a blockchain transaction through the use of a parallel database and date management includes: receiving a new blockchain transaction that includes unspent transaction outputs; identifying, in a parallel database, a start date for a blockchain wallet involved in the new transaction; identifying a subset of blocks in the blockchain that have been added to the blockchain since the start date; validating the new blockchain transaction by validating the unspent transaction outputs using the subset of blocks; and, if the validation is successful, adding the new transaction to the blockchain, or, if the validation is unsuccessful, notifying the submitter of the failed validation.

Abstract: An electronic voting machine obtains session information in an encrypted state for conducting a voting session. The voting machine decrypts the session information using a decryption key that is specific to the voting machine. A ballot provided in the session information may then be presented in a user interface through which votes are received. The session information also includes an encryption key for a specific tabulation machine associated a priori with the voting session, as well as one or more datastores. The voting machine encrypts the votes with the encryption key and sends the votes in an encrypted state to the one or more datastores. The tabulation machine may then retrieve the votes from the location(s) and decrypt them using a corresponding private key.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing a rewards payment form linked directly to a rewards account are described. The system can determine, based on a comparison of a location of a mobile device with a merchant location of a merchant, that the mobile device is at the merchant location. The system can determine that the merchant participates in a rewards promotion and can receive a transaction request associated with a rewards account and a cryptogram. The system can authenticate the transaction request by decrypting the cryptogram and can activate the rewards promotion based on the determination that the mobile device is at the merchant location and the determination that the merchant participates in the rewards promotion.

Abstract: Disclosed embodiments provide a framework to enable rich messaging via offline channels to obtain payments for completion of business transactions. In response to a request to obtain information associated with a customer to support a transaction performed via a communications session, a messaging platform transmits a request to a computing device associated with the customer to obtain authorization for the information. In response to obtaining the authorization for the information from the computing device associated with the customer, the messaging platform uses the authorization at a processing service to obtain the information subject to the authorization. The information is provided to fulfill the initial request.

Abstract: Various embodiments are generally directed to NFC-based mobile currency transfers. A mobile payment may be programmatically initialized when at least two mobile devices come into NFC communications range. A payment card associated with an account used to fund the currency transfer may be tapped to one or more of the devices to allow a server to validate the currency transfer.
