  • Patent number: 7382347
Abstract: When a voltage level of a pulse-cut first clock signal inputted to a first clock terminal is reversed in the state where a first transistor is turned on and a second transistor is turned off, an anti-reversal circuit including a seventh transistor and an eighth transistor supplies a high voltage VDD to a node n2. In this way, a floating state of the node n2 is avoided, and the voltage level of the node n2 is prevented from being reversed. Accordingly, the second transistor will not be turned on in the interval, whereby electric potential of an output signal is stably maintained.

  • Patent number: 7362311
Abstract: A system and method for small computing devices that present a single column of content such as a web page such that a user need only scroll vertically to see the content. A parser converts HTML to CSS as necessary, and a single column style sheet modifies content for a more-optimized viewing experience. To this end, tables and tables cells are rendered as blocks, with no padding/border/margins and any explicit widths and heights changed to automatic. Other table elements are rendered as block level elements, and horizontal margins are eliminated or re-enabled on some elements in a reduced manner. Spacer images are removed, as well as cell background images and small images. Content such as text is wrapped, and images are resized as necessary based on the screen display width. The result is a single content column that facilitates viewing and scrolling in only one direction.

  • Patent number: 7355584
Abstract: Projector and camera arrangements are provided for use in electronic whiteboard systems. Specifically, the present invention provides projector and camera arrangements wherein the projector and camera share the same imaging optics. By sharing the same projection and camera optics, the distortions that affect the projection system are the same as those of the camera system. Thus, the calibration step required in conventional whiteboard systems where the projector and camera are separate, i.e., each having their own distinct optics and settings, is no longer needed. Further, the arrangements provided in accordance with the invention are self-aligning, even when lens distortions are large and even in the presence of strong perspective effects. The shared optics projector and camera arrangements of the invention also provide for dynamic zooming. In addition, various active and passive optical marker or lightpen designs are provided for use in electronic whiteboard systems.

  • Patent number: 7348961
Abstract: The present invention relates to a communications system for distributing information to and from local and regional distribution centers as well as individual dial-up servers. The communications system contains an interactive, configurable interface. The first aspect of the invention employs a method and device for communicating information between computers, where a first computer unit, comprising a touch sensitive screen for displaying images, a processing unit and a communications port, connects to a telephone line. The second computer unit pushes data and images to be displayed on the first computer unit's touch sensitive screen with identifying codes associated with a definition of active areas. When an active area is selected, the first computer unit returns the code associated with the active area. In this way pushed data and interactive communications between the points are achieved.

  • Patent number: 7345657
Abstract: A source-drain voltage of one of two transistors connected in series becomes quite small in a set operation (write signal), thus the set operation is performed to the other transistor. In an output operation, two transistors operate as a multi-gate transistor, therefore, a current value can be small in the output operation. In other words, a current can be large in the set operation. Therefore, the set operation can be performed rapidly without being easily influenced by an intersection capacitance and a wiring resistance which are parasitic on a wiring and the like. Further, an influence of variations between adjacent ones can be small as one same transistor is used in the set operation and the output operation.
