  • Patent number: 11353237
Abstract: An exhaust fan configured to exhaust air from a building includes a housing, a fan, and a motor for driving the fan. Overlying the fan is one or more dampers that are moveable from a closed position to an open position. Underlying the dampers is at least one pivot arm per damper that is pivotally connected to the fan and which normally assumes a horizontal position spaced from the overlying damper. A mechanical fusible link is connected to the pivot arm and is configured to break in response to a buildup of heat in and around the dampers. Once the fusible link breaks, then the pivot arm is operative to engage and open the overlying damper.

  • Patent number: 11346577
Abstract: An air conditioner of present invention comprises a housing having an outer panel forming the exterior and an opening formed on the outer panel, a heat exchanger configured to exchange heat with air flowing into the housing, and a door unit configured to open or close the opening by moving forward or backward from the opening through which the heat exchanged air is discharged. Wherein the door unit comprises a door blade configured to open or close the opening, a door operating part configured to move the door blade forward or backward, and a controller configured to control the air discharged from the opening to be moved forward from the opening in a straight line or to be discharged radially from the opening by controlling a distance between the door blade and the opening.

  • Patent number: 11326784
Abstract: A home appliance includes a door coupled with a cabinet of the home appliance and moveable about a vertical axis between open and closed positions. A lower hinge assembly moveably couples a lower portion of the door with the cabinet. A mounting assembly is configured to support an upper portion of the door relative to the cabinet until the upper portion of the door is coupled with the cabinet and includes a first bracket supporting a pivot pin and a second bracket including a slot configured to receive the pivot pin therein. When the lower portion of the door is coupled to the cabinet by the lower hinge assembly and the pivot pin is received within the slot, the mounting assembly is configured to maintain the upper portion of the door in vertical alignment with the lower portion along the vertical axis.

  • Patent number: 11274839
Abstract: A fresh-air cooling system and methods of cooling a building structure with the same are provided. The system has an exterior interface assembly, a damper, a register, a duct, and a motorized fan. The exterior interface assembly is connected to the register by the duct and provides a flow path for air outside the building to enter the duct. The motorized fan is disposed in an attic of the building structure and pulls air into the attic from a living space to create a negative static pressure in the living space. The damper is positioned along the flow path from the exterior interface assembly to the living space and opens to allow air outside the building structure to enter the living space in response to motorized fan creating in the living space a negative static pressure that exceeds the cracking pressure of the damper. The cracking pressure of the damper can be adjusted to control the flow rate of outside air through the damper.

  • Patent number: 11268700
Abstract: The invention relates to a gas burner comprising: —an injection holder (2) with at least three gas injectors (2.1, 2.2, 2.3); —a burner crown assembly (3), the burner crown assembly comprising at least three flame rings (FR1, FR2, FR3) with different sizes, the burner crown assembly further comprising at least three chambers (CH1, CH2, CH3) and at least three pipes (3.1.1, 3.1.2, 3.1.3), each pipe being fluidly coupled with a single chamber; wherein each gas injector is associated with one of said pipes for providing gas into said pipe, said pipe being adapted to receive primary air in the area of the injection holder and to provide a combustion mixture of gas and primary air to one of said flame rings of the burner crown assembly. In addition, adjacent flame rings are separated from each other based on an air gap (AG1, AG2) provided between said adjacent flame rings.
