Abstract: The present invention extends to a double canopy covered wagon. Interior canopy frame supports support an interior canopy over a portion of a wagon flooring surface and under larger exterior canopy frame supports. The exterior canopy frame supports support an exterior canopy over the interior canopy. Including interior and exteriors canopies increases insulation relative to a single canopy. Further, since the exterior canopy frame supports are larger than the interior canopy frame supports, air can flow between the interior and exterior canopies. Air flow between the canopies in combination with increased insulation facilitates more effective climate control inside a wagon.

A tent can have the avalanche shovel as a tent pole.
Abstract: An attachment to a mobility aid, such as a walker, wheeled walker or rollator, or wheelchair that automatically positions a slip resistant surface under the foot of the user. Cleats or a cleat head with retractable cleats are attached to the slip resistant surface. The distance the slip resistant surface is from the mobility aid is adjustable to suit the user. A retractable slip resistant surface attachment is removably attached to sides of the mobility aid. A sliding channel bracket is slidably attached to an attachment panel permitting the sliding channel bracket to be adjusted longitudinally. A slip resist surface is moved freely back and forth with a retraction mechanism. Adjustable, secure footing is obtained on wet or slippery surfaces preventing falls.
Abstract: A hiking pole with a retractable blade is shown and described. The hiking pole with a retractable blade includes an elongated pole having a first end and a second end. The second end or the elongated pole has a retractable blade affixed thereto. The blade will extend past the second end when not retracted.
Abstract: Methods for using a shelter such as a team shelter includes, for example, positioning a canopy of the shelter in a raised position to provide a front facing opening under the canopy in the shelter, and moving the canopy of the shelter to a lowered position to reduce the size of the front facing opening.

Abstract: An umbrella includes an anti-inversion mechanism that is configured to apply to each rib assembly a force that counters an inversion force that is applied to the umbrella. The anti-inversion mechanism includes a first elongated member that is coupled at a first end to one rib of the plurality of ribs. The umbrella also includes a second elongated member having a first end coupled to the first elongated member. A first connector is coupled to a distal end of the distal rib; and a second connector is coupled to a second end of the first elongated member. The first connector and the second connector are coupled to one another to securely attach the second elongated member to the distal rib.
Abstract: A walker device is described herein including two side frames, each side frame including a front vertical support, a rear vertical support and at least one connecting member extending between the front and rear vertical supports. The walker device further includes a cross bar extending between the two side frames and pivotally connecting to the front vertical supports of the two side frames. The walker device also includes a tension device which applies a resistive force to the pivoting motion between the first cross bar and the two side frames. The walker device is therefore capable of a pivoting configuration which enables the user to learn or re-learn a more natural gait pattern including rotation of the upper and lower body. Some embodiments of the walker device include a second, auxiliary cross bar that is parallel to the first cross bar and horizontally offset from the first cross bar.
Abstract: A pull-down type device, including a base, a supporting plate, two locking tongues slidably positioned on the supporting plate, a cap and a pull rod; the supporting plate is fixed to the cap; each locking tongue has a body, a latch, a vertical column, and a slanted surface at a bottom end of the vertical column; the latch passes through a reset spring abutting against an inner side of the cap; a column having a body and an accommodation space is provided at the center of the base; a protrusion of the pull rod is fitted in the space. The space has a diameter larger than the column; slanted surfaces are provided at outer surfaces of the space, slidably cooperating with the slanted surfaces of the vertical columns; the space is located beneath the body of the locking tongue. The pull rod can be unlocked by pulling down the base.
Abstract: An articulating frame for a shelter includes a plurality of struts pivotally connected to each other to define a skeletal structure that is adapted to be articulated between a folded condition and an erected condition. The skeletal structure in the erected condition includes a segmented arch that defines an interior space. The skeletal structure is adapted to support an associated outer shell covering. The frame includes at least one double-scissor linkage segment including four of the plurality of struts. The four struts include: (i) first and second struts each with opposite inner and outer ends, the first and second struts bring pivotally connected to each other at a first pivot point located between their respective inner and outer ends; and, (ii) third and fourth struts each with opposite inner and outer ends, the third and fourth struts being pivotally connected to each other at a second pivot point located between their respective inner and outer ends.
