  • Patent number: 11874862
Abstract: A community question-answer (CQA) website answer sorting method and system combined with active learning. The sorting method comprises: step S1, performing question-answer data representation and modeling; and step S2, constructing a training set in combination with active learning, and predicting a sorting relationship of candidate question-answer pairs. Also provided is a community question-answer website answer sorting system combined with active learning. CQA website question-answer data is first represented and modeled, interference to answers sorting caused by long tail distribution of the community data is solved by means of a long tail factor, and an attention mechanism is introduced in a convolutional neural network to relieve a semantic gap problem among question-answer texts. Then, an unlabeled training set is also constructed, a sample is additionally selected from the unlabeled training set and labeled, and an answer sorting model is trained again after labeling results are merged.

  • Patent number: 11829345
Abstract: Data is handled in a distributed computing environment comprising at least one server and a plurality of clients comprising at least a first client and a second client. The first client sends a first request for data to the second client, receives a first response from the second client as a response to the first quest, determines a probability of validity of the data requested based on a validity indication included in the first response indicating a probability that the data requested from the second client is invalid. The first client determines that the data requested by the first request and available from the second client is likely invalid, sends a second request to the server to obtain the data from the server and receives the data from the server.

  • Patent number: 11822535
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to a database system includes worker nodes operable to perform transactions and director nodes operable to ensure transactional consistency for the transactions. A worker node may receive a request to perform a transaction involving writing a record. The worker node may then issue, to director nodes of the database system, a request for information that facilitates performance of an operation for the transaction. A director node may determine whether to approve the request based on whether the operation could cause transactional inconsistency in the database system. The worker node may proceed to perform the operation for the transaction in response to receiving approval responses from a majority of the director nodes, with none of the received responses indicating a disapproval of the transaction.

  • Patent number: 11822562
Abstract: Aspects described herein include systems and methods for determining addresses for assets, prioritizing the addresses for inspection by users, and applying natural language processing techniques to unstructured text input by the users. According to some aspects, a message may be received that includes unstructured text that was input by a user. The unstructured text may be associated with an inspection, by the user, of an address for an asset. One or more natural language techniques may be applied to the unstructured text to, among other things, facilitate the determination and sending of a response message to the unstructured text in an automated fashion. The response message may, if the asset was not found, include another address as a suggestion for the user to inspect for the asset. This suggested address may be determined based on changes to address priority that were caused by processing of the unstructured text.
