  • Patent number: 11316727
Abstract: The current document is directed to methods and systems that process, classify, efficiently store, and display large volumes of event messages generated in modern computing systems. In a disclosed implementation, received event messages are assigned to event-message clusters based on non-parameter tokens identified within the event messages. A parsing function is generated for each cluster that is used to extract data from incoming event messages and to prepare event records from event messages that more efficiently and accessible store event information. The parsing functions also provide an alternative basis for assignment of event messages to clusters. Event types associated with the clusters are used for gathering information from various information sources with which to automatically annotate event messages displayed to system administrators, maintenance personnel, and other users of event messages.

  • Patent number: 11294936
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for identifying the habitual places of a user, the habitual places of a user being the places where the user spends most of his/her time. In some embodiments, historical location information of a user is accessed, and a plurality of visit points are identified based on the historical location information. The plurality of visit points is clustered into a plurality of clusters. Each one of the clusters is then associated with a habitual place of the user. When the server receives, from a client device associated with the user, current location information of the user, the server identifies a current location of the user based on the current location information, and, if the current location of the user is in a neighborhood of one of the clusters, determine that the user is at the habitual place associated with the cluster.

  • Patent number: 11272004
Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for a network cache of device input for redundancy during device inoperability. A device may detect that the device is in danger of failure, for example, if a battery is low on the device, the device is damaged, or the device may lose network connectivity. On detection of such a condition, the device may request that a server that performs electronic transaction processing establish or trigger a mode that allows for caching of transaction data as input for the transaction data is entered to a device, which may be done by sending signaling to the server indicating the condition that affects the device's operability. The server may then cache input for the transaction data. If the device fails prior to approving and completing electronic transaction processing, the server may use the cached data to generate a digital ledger for another entity.

  • Patent number: 11251881
Abstract: A computer system for recursive calibration of a sensor network receives a first data communication from a first sensor node that is a neighbor to a calibrated sensor node. The computer system then updates a set of linear regressions between the first sensor node and a set of neighboring sensor nodes, which include the neighboring, calibrated sensor node. The computer system calibrates the first sensor node using an average of the set of linear regressions weighted by a correlation. When the first sensor node is calibrated, the computer system uses the calibrated first sensor node in calibration of a neighboring, uncalibrated sensor node. The computer system then gathers, at the first sensor node, a calibrated sensor reading.
