Abstract: A cryptocurrency system that enables to verify the origin of a cryptocurrency is provided. A cryptocurrency system includes: at least one terminal; and a plurality of management servers configured to manage a blockchain storing a trading history in a cryptocurrency. The at least one terminal includes a trading control section, and a transmission section. The trading control section is configured to generate a transaction including a first signature for a trading content and a second signature enabling to verify a validity of a remittance source address described in the trading content. The transmission section is configured to transmit the generated transaction to the plurality of management servers.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to an apparatus for high frequency trading. The apparatus includes one or more memories, at least one reconfigurable processor coupled to the one or more memories, and a dedicated accelerator preconfigured for the machine learning model. The one or more processors receive market-related information from one or more market-related information servers and generates market prediction reference data based on the market-related information. The dedicated accelerator performs operations for the machine learning model with the market prediction reference data to generate future market prediction data. The at least one reconfigurable processor generates an order signal based on the future market prediction data and transmits the order signal to a target exchange server.

Abstract: A device and a secure element for conducting a secured financial transaction are disclosed. The device comprises a central processing unit; a communication interface for establishing a communication between the device and a financial institution related to a financial account; an interface for acquiring data relating to the financial account; the secure element for processing at least a portion of the data relating to the financial account acquired by the interface; and control logic for acquiring a purchase amount to be debited from the financial account and for obtaining a transaction authorization from the financial institution related to the financial account, the transaction authorization being based, at least partially, on data processed solely by the secure element independently of data processed by the central processing unit. A method of conducting the secured financial transaction, and a computer program product for execution by the secure element are also disclosed.

The apparatus, for example, a processor to receive an input from a user via an input/output device, the input including information for a plurality of assets maintained by the user; decompose a main problem into multiple sub-problems; independently solve each of the multiple sub-problems to determine corresponding multiple sub-solutions; recombine the corresponding multiple sub-solutions into a solution to the main problem; calculate an intervention schedule for each asset of the plurality of assets based on the solution; and upon receiving a request from the user, output the intervention schedule via one of a display of the input/output device or remote electronic device in communication with the asset management apparatus.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for deploying and implementing centralized trading and tracking computing platforms to support tri-party trading are presented. In some embodiments, a central trading computing platform may receive, from a discretionary and managed accounts administration computer system associated with a financial institution, trade information defining one or more trades in one or more mutual funds for one or more accounts administrated by the financial institution. Subsequently, the central trading computing platform may validate the trade information and create order information based on the trade information. Then, the computing platform may send the order information to a clearing entity computer system.

Abstract: A system applying semantics from and applying analytics to an uploaded prior approval document to identify legal language terms affecting export approval, associating these terms with synonyms and thesaurus based comparisons and generating a control language common to prior approval agreements, thus increasing a population of trade authorizations in a blockchain and thereby enhancing an automated trade control term ontology repository. In response to a transaction of a digital asset, inter-attribute relationships are applied to evolve valuation blockchain entries for similar digital assets.

Abstract: A computer implemented method, a system and a non-transitory storage medium are provided, for automatically recreating and displaying the chronology of market events that led to a variation in a profit and loss (PnL) account of an entity implementing a trading strategy. The chronology of market events is represented in a graphical user interface. The trading strategy is run by a plurality of processing devices which are remotely located from one another. A computer implemented method for automatically identifying chains of market events is also provided, where the market events have led to unusual variations in a profit and loss (PnL) account of a group of securities traded by an entity.

Abstract: A method, system, and device for controlling energy storage devices are provided, the method including receiving a trained machine learning model from a centralized machine learning system, recording temporal data for a respective energy storage device, periodically transmitting the temporal data to the machine learning system, performing a mode prediction for controlling the energy storage device using the trained machine learning model and the temporal data, and sending a control signal to the energy storage device to operate in the predicted mode. The machine learning system aggregates the temporal data transmitted by each agent and uses the aggregated temporal data to update the machine learning model. By using aggregated temporal data, less data is needed from an individual energy storage device so that when a new energy storage device joins the machine learning system, the new energy storage device can benefit from increased performance with less computation.

Abstract: A system and method of tokenizing sensitive cardholder payment information for use in cashless transactions includes receiving a request to process a cashless transaction between a merchant and a purchaser using first payment data stored with an electronic wallet provider on behalf of the purchaser. First payment data is retrieved from the electronic wallet provider. The first payment data is tokenized into a payment token, and provided to the merchant for use in completing the cashless transaction using the payment token. The payment token is detokenized into second payment data being indicative of payment token authenticity. Payment for the cashless transaction is processed using the second payment data, and the merchant is provided with a response indicating either the success or failure of the payment processing.

Abstract: A shared ledger operated by a group of network participants according to a set of consensus rules manages and resolves subrogation claims between a clamant and a defendant with arbitration. Evidence regarding the value of the subrogation claim is sent to the shared ledger by the parties to the subrogation claim, such as sending data to a smart contract deployed on the shared ledger. The parties to the claim may request arbitration, especially after attempts to settle the claim on-chain between the two parties have failed. An arbitrator may request evidence from the parties and/or request responses from the parties to accept damages calculations and/or settlement offers. Once the claim is resolved, the arbitrator may release funds on the chain to the prevailing party or may accept confirmation that any payments have been made between the parties off-chain.

Abstract: Techniques are described for managing a network through use of a security device that includes, or has access to, a blockchain node. The security device may manage a network of Internet-of-Things (IoT) devices in a home or other environment. The security device may act as an intermediary to manage secure, trusted communications between the IoT device(s) and external service(s). The security device may also provide network security features such as a network firewall. In some implementations, the security device may run a blockchain node, and the blockchain could be used to establish a verifiable home identity. The security device may interact with external resources and/or services, such as utility services, e-commerce services, and so forth, through this secure mechanism.

Abstract: Systems and methods for privacy-preserving inventory matching are disclosed. In one embodiment, in an information processing apparatus comprising at least one computer processor, a method for inventory matching may include: (1) receiving, from each of a plurality of clients, a masked submission comprising an identification of at least one security to buy or sell and a desired quantity to buy or sell; (2) aggregating the masked submissions resulting in a sum of the desired quantities to buy or sell; (3) matching at least two of the clients to conduct a transaction based on aggregation and their respective masked submissions; and (4) conducing the transaction between the matched clients.
