  • Patent number: 9772700
Abstract: A method for generating display data comprises detecting user input via an input interface. A processor is in communication with the input interface to generate display data comprising a display object for display by a display device. The display object is representative of an action that will subsequently be performed by the processor on continuation of the user input. The display data on the display device is output whilst the user input is being detected. Alternatively, the display object is caused to appear on the display device over time as the user input is being performed, wherein the rate at which the display object appears is different to the rate of performance of the user input. A device and executable computer program for performing the steps of the method is also provided.

  • Patent number: 9767751
Abstract: The present invention provides a GOA circuit based on oxide semiconductor thin film transistor. By adding the fifty-fifth, fifty-sixth, fifty-seventh thin film transistors (T55, T56, T57) respectively corresponding to the fourth, fifth, second nodes (S(N), K(N), P(N)) in the pull-down holding module (600). The fifty-fifth, fifty-sixth, fifty-seventh thin film transistors (T55, T56, T57) are controlled with the stage transfer signal of the GOA unit circuit of the former N?1th stage or the scan driving signal of the GOA unit circuit of the former N?1th stage to pull down the voltage levels of the fourth, fifth, second nodes (S(N), K(N), P(N)) under circumstance that the first node (Q(N)) is not completely boosted to rapidly deactivate the pull-down holding module (600) for ensuring the normal boost of the voltage level of the first node (Q(N)). The first node (Q(N)) is guaranteed to be high voltage level in the functioning period, and thus, the normal output of the GOA circuit is ensured.

  • Patent number: 9761170
Abstract: A method and system of compensating for localized phenomena in a display is disclosed. The display includes an array of pixels and a control system for adjusting content data signals for the array of pixels to compensate for aging of the pixels in the array. The control system measures a parameter of at least one of the pixels in the array via a read input of the at least one of the pixels. The controller determines the effect of the localized phenomena on the pixel using the parameter. A characteristic is measured for at least one of the pixels in the array via the read input of the at least one of the pixels. The measured characteristic is adjusted to reduce the effect of the localized phenomena. An adjusted aging compensation value based on the adjusted measured characteristic is calculated by the controller. The aging compensation value is applied to a data content signal to at least one of the pixels.

  • Patent number: 9679519
Abstract: At least one of the two rectangular conducting planes, provided to apply a voltage across the terminals of each pixel of a matrix, is supplied via two adjacent edges from individual voltage sources distributed along each of the edges. The voltage sources have different values of voltage, preferably but not necessarily varying in a monotonically increasing manner between a lower value at the end near the junction between the two edges and a higher value at the other end of each of the edges. The two edges through which the first conducting plane is mainly supplied are cut out to form electrical contact points locally isolated from one another and regularly spaced, each supplied by a respective individual voltage source. The other conducting plane may be supplied in the same way.
