Abstract: Systems and methods that facilitate performing multiple transactions at once using a vehicle based wallet are disclosed herein. The vehicle based wallet can link to a plurality of mobile wallets and perform singular transactions with ATMs and POS machines, the singular transactions being a group transaction associated with one or more of the mobile wallets. The vehicle based wallet can collect intended transactions between the ATMs and the POS machines and the mobile wallets, and then gather them together and perform a single group transaction made up of the individual transactions for multiple people that are within the vehicle.
Abstract: A shopping cart has integrated scale and point-of-sale device. The scale and credit card processing device are secured within a common housing. The bar code reader is secured within a hand wand which is detachably secured to the exterior of the scale and credit card processing device's housing. The scale and credit card processing device are secured to top center of the shopping cart's handle.
Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a system and method for automatic replenishment and management of inventory determines residual level of one or more household commodities, provides information concerning the residual level of one or more household commodities to various vendors, and a users' electronic device application using which the user can decide to place an order. The system includes plurality of sensor enabled commodity containers for inventory, communication boxes for receiving and further reporting current residual level of the one or more household commodities and a host server for integrating the received residual level information with one or more unique identifiers. Further, the host server provides the integrated information list to third parties without having any manual involvement in the whole process.
Abstract: The disclosure relates to mobile device retail self-checkout with incorporated theft detection system and methods thereof. Aspects of the invention employ asset tracking, mobile phone scanning and self-checkout in a retail environment. Specifically, a mobile device application in communication with a transaction system has to capacity to complete unassisted self-checkouts. Other aspects include providing a transaction system using a mobile device application interfacing therewith. Additionally, the present invention has the capacity to interface with existing anti-theft technologies, such as, RFID or similar RF tagging and reading which can determine thefts and process exceptions of unique items.
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for verifying and/or confirming merchant data for multiple different transactions. One method generally includes accessing merchant data for a merchant where the merchant data includes a master merchant identifier for the merchant, and querying, by a computing device, multiple users as to which of a list of merchant data entries, for multiple different transactions and including different merchant identifiers, corresponds to the master merchant identifier for the merchant. The users are associated with a location within a predefined distance of the confirmed merchant and/or have performed one or more purchase transactions at the merchant. The method also generally includes receiving, at the computing device, a response from at least one of the users, in which the at least one of the users selects a data entry from the list, and determining whether to proceed in querying additional users.
Abstract: An inventory location such as a shelf may be used to stow different types of items. Interactions may take place, such as the pick or place of one or more items from the inventory location. Image data may be acquired from cameras viewing the shelf and weight data may be acquired from weight sensors coupled to the shelf. Hypotheses may be determined that indicate possible interactions with the inventory location, such as pick or place of an item with regard to the inventory location, and the probability that those interactions are correct. The hypotheses and their associated probabilities may be aggregated. From the aggregated hypotheses, a hypothesis with a highest confidence value may be deemed a solution.

Abstract: A method and system for automatically characterizing retail zones is provided. The method includes determining, via a mobile device of a user, that a user has entered a first zone of a plurality of zones internal to a first entity structure. Product information is scanned via the mobile device in response to the user locating a first product. The product information describes the first product. Historical product and zone related data is analyzed with respect to the first zone and the product information and it is determined, based on the analysis, if the first product is currently associated with being located within the first zone.

Abstract: To enable a notification instructing a goods management work to be made at an appropriate and effective timing, a goods monitoring device for monitoring a display state of goods based on captured images of a display area in a store includes: a goods detection unit that detects goods in the display area based on captured images of the display area; a goods state detection unit that detects a goods display state in the display area; a person detection unit that detects persons staying in the store; a person state detection unit that detects a person staying state in the store; a notification determination unit that determines propriety of a notification instructing a store staff member to perform a goods management work; and a notification unit that makes the notification based on a result of determination by the notification determination unit.
Abstract: Techniques for facilitating one or more operating modes for monitoring of an intelligent home system are disclosed. The techniques facilitate detecting an adverse condition in a building, generating an alert based on the detection, sending a notification about the alert to a user (e.g., to a mobile device), awaiting a user response, and determining whether to send the alert to a central monitoring system to facilitate notification of an appropriate responder for the adverse condition. Determining whether to send the alert to the central monitoring system may be based on an affirmative command from the user or a failure to receive any command from the user. The user may be billed for the service of notifying an appropriate responder provided by central monitoring system regularly, intermittently when the user is away from the building, or on a per-alert basis.

Abstract: The methods and systems described herein provide for processing payments at a retail location whose infrastructure has been significantly removed from PCI scope. A request for processing payments may be sent from a point of sale lane to a back office server in communication with a credit card terminal. A user may use the credit card terminal to enter in secure payment information which is securely transmitted to a remote authorization service for authorization. Through this method, the credit card terminal and sensitive payment information may be securely isolated from the remaining infrastructure at the retail location.
Abstract: Embodiments rotate data by tokenization. Embodiments determine one or more check data fields of a check such as check number and routing number; generate a PIN based on the determined check data fields; receive user input of a user PIN; compare the generated PIN with the inputted user PIN; if the generated PIN matches the inputted user PIN, proceed with the transaction; and if the generated PIN does not match the inputted user PIN, cancel the transaction. In some cases, a point of sale terminal comprising a scanner for scanning the check to determine the one or more check data fields. In some cases, receiving user input of the user PIN comprises receiving, by a communication device of the system from a mobile device of the user, a text message, SMS message or phone call comprising the user input of a user PIN.
Abstract: An inventory location such as a shelf may be used to stow different types of items. The shelf may be equipped with a plurality of lanes arranged parallel to one another. Items may rest upon two or more of the lanes. Each lane includes a weight sensor that provides weight data about a load on the lane. Based on the weight data and item data indicative of individual weights of those items stowed on the shelf, interaction data indicative of an activity such as a pick or place of an item may be determined. The interaction data may specify what item was picked or placed, quantity of that item that was picked or placed, and so forth. Data from other sensors, such as a camera, may be used to determine the interaction data.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer readable medium for usage billing of one or more hosted applications serving one or more clients. The hosted applications are contained within one or more isolated environments or run without isolated environments. The system may include usage billing based on one or more of resources open, amount of data flowing through resources, number of open files, number of transactions, number of concurrent users, number of processes, CPU utilization and memory usage, The system may further include a management interface where administrators may add, remove and configure isolated environments, configure client policies and credentials, and force upgrades. If using isolated environments, the isolated environments may be isolated from other applications and the host operating system on the clients and applications within the isolated environments may run without performing an application-installation on the client.
Abstract: A system and method of creating and customizing menus for a restaurant. The present invention may include a software program. A user may use the software program to input the names of a plurality of food items served at the restaurant. A database may save the inputted food items. When the user is creating a menu, the user may select the saved food items and arrange them on a preview menu. Once finished with the menu, the user may print and use the menu at a restaurant. In other aspects of the present invention, when multiple menus are stored onto the database, a user may edit a first menu which synchronizes with and thereby makes the same edit on a second menu.
