    Abstract: The invention provides a method of locating a position of an electrical fixture behind a panel by using an aperture cutting guide comprising a support plate and a guide tube having a longitudinal aperture. The support plate is formed with first holes and second holes. The selected second hole and the guide tube protruding through a cut-out of a panel are positioned at an axis of the fixture installation location. A hole cutting tool having a longitudinal rotatable element and a cutting member with cutting teeth is directed towards the cut-out. The rotatable element is movably received and guided by the tube's longitudinal aperture. An opening within the panel is cut by the cutting teeth, so that the guide tube is adapted to retain a proper orientation of the longitudinal rotatable element and to prevent the cutting teeth of the tool from drifting away from a predetermined orientation.

A method for using the guard to cut food has the food being placed inside the guard, the user gripping the guard and flexing the sides inwardly so that the at least one grip forms a secure connection with the outer surface of the food, and cutting the food such that the plate adds a layer of protection between the cutting instrument and the user.

It cuts and/or breaks off portions in a far more uniform and controllable manner to more accurately portion and better place the cut portions.
