Abstract: A liquid level sensor comprising a thermistor probe and a power source connected to the thermistor probe to heat the thermistor probe. A cover encases the thermistor probe and includes openings allowing liquid to enter and exit an interior of the cover and contact the thermistor probe. A detector detects a liquid level in response to a voltage at the thermistor probe.

Abstract: A temperature sensor includes a substantially rod-shaped guide portion 28 vertically protruding from a vertical wall 20c of a substrate. A harness 40 is fixed to the guide portion 28 in a contacting state by accommodating the guide portion 28 and the harness 40 in a vinyl tube 44. Because of this configuration, a root portion of the harness 40, which extends from the substrate 20, is unlikely to be bent, broken or disconnected due to the rigidity of the guide portion 28.

Abstract: A monitoring system for rotating equipment includes detection of temperature conditions in various areas of the system including motor and pump bearings, mechanical seal environment including seal flush, seal cooler and seal reservoir and process fluid temperature. The monitoring system allows for the prediction of component failures and a proactive repair schedule which minimizes if not eliminates component damage.
