Abstract: A method performed by a first base station (BS) in a secondary cell group (SCG) associated with a user equipment (UE) is provided. The method receives, from a second BS in a master cell group (MCG) associated with the UE, a request for a configuration for packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) data duplication. The method then generates a mapping configuration for the PDCP data duplication in the SCG after receiving the request. The method transmits, to the UE, the mapping configuration.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for power headroom report types and triggering conditions. A method for a user equipment (UE) to provide first uplink control information (UCI) includes receiving a configuration enabling transmissions of physical uplink control channels (PUCCHs) and physical uplink shared channels (PUSCHs) that overlap in time and determining a first priority for a first PUCCH and a second priority for a first PUSCH. Transmissions of the first PUCCH and of the first PUSCH are scheduled to overlap in time. The first PUCCH is scheduled to provide the first UCI. The method further includes transmitting: both the first PUCCH and the first PUSCH when the first priority is different than the second priority, where the first UCI is included in the first PUCCH; and only the first PUSCH when the first priority is same as the second priority, where the first UCI is included in the first PUSCH.

  • Patent number: 11800406
Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices can be used to perform service-aware utilization of shared wireless resources. In various instances, a quality metric (e.g., a Bit Error Rate (BER)) of a shared wireless resource is determined. Requested services can be provided based at least partly on the quality metric and the type of services being requested. For example, when the quality metric exceeds a threshold and the requested services are for Quality of Service (QoS)-sensitive services (e.g., Guaranteed Bit Rate (GBR) services), the services can be provided at least partially via a licensed wireless resource. However, when the quality metric does not exceed the threshold, and/or the requested services are for non-QoS-sensitive services (e.g., non-GBR services), the services can be provided via the shared wireless resource.

  • Patent number: 11800493
Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to a method and apparatus for receiving a medium occupation and a resource block group (RBG) size from a gNB, wherein the radio block group size is based on a bandwidth part (BWP) configuration. In one example, UEs with smaller BWP have finer granularity in RBG size in terms of PRBs, while UEs with larger BWP may have a coarser granularity in RBG size in terms of PRBs. An additional guard band may be used if the gNB reserves some channels such that not all of the BW is occupied. For example, if the gNB reserves the 20 MHz channel, it may perform better by adding additional guard band on each side of the 20 MHz bandwidth to accommodate an adjacent channel leakage-power ratio (ACLR). Another aspect of the present disclosure relates to assigning a UE an interlace with equally spaced PRBs.
