Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable medium are provided for managing user information. For example, data of the user may be stored in a memory. A request for a user to authorize access of at least a portion of the data may be provided. The authorization may be for an application to access the portion of the data. In some examples, a response to the request may be received, and an indication that the request was provided to the user may be provided without indicating whether the user denied the request.

Abstract: A method for providing quick access to device functionality responsive to a touch gesture may include receiving an indication of a swipe gesture being performed from a first predefined portion of a display to a second predefined portion of a touch screen display, classifying the swipe gesture as a trigger gesture based on insertion of a motion delay of at least a threshold period of time in connection with the swipe gesture, and causing, in response to classifying the trigger gesture, a display of a predefined set of functional elements that cause execution of a corresponding function when a respective one of the predefined set of functional elements is selected. A corresponding apparatus and computer program product are also provided.

Abstract: System and methods for incorporating virtual network computing (“VNC”) into a cockpit display system (“CDS”) are disclosed. A system and method for incorporating VNC into the CDS is comprised of a non-aircraft remote system and a CDS, where the non-aircraft remote system is comprised of a VNC client and a remote display unit, and the CDS comprised of, in part, a VNC server and a PM configured with a method employing an aviation-industry standard protocol (e.g., ARINC 661) and a VNC protocol. A Second method for incorporating VNC into the CDS is comprised of a non-aircraft remote system and a CDS, where the non-aircraft remote system is comprised of a VNC server and a remote display unit, and the CDS comprised of, in part, a VNC client and a processing module (“PM”) configured with a method employing an aviation-industry standard protocol and a VNC protocol.

Abstract: A logical central processing unit (CPU) division management view is displayed for a device having multiple logical CPU divisions. The management view is displayed as a heat map representation that includes multiple cells, each of which corresponds to one of the multiple logical CPU divisions. As part of the heat map representation, each of the multiple cells is displayed in one of multiple different manners based on a usage of the corresponding logical CPU division, and a usage value identifying usage of the corresponding one of the multiple logical processors can also displayed in the cell.

Abstract: A video annotation interface includes a video pane configured to display a video, a video timeline bar including a video play-head indicating a current point of the video which is being played, a segment timeline bar including initial and final handles configured to define a segment of the video for playing, and a plurality of color-coded comment markers displayed in connection with the video timeline bar. Each of the comment markers is associated with a frame or segment of the video and corresponds to one or more annotations for that frame or segment made by one of a plurality of users. Each of the users can make annotations and view annotations made by other users. The annotations can include annotations corresponding to a plurality of modalities, including text, drawing, video, and audio modalities.

Abstract: A system and method for providing a more relevant user viewing experience on a mobile device includes providing a video application providing access to a virtual video channel store with selectable tiles representing digital video content sources (channels). A user is able to select channels from the virtual channel store and interact with the selections within a graphical user interface that enhances the channel viewing experience.
