  • Patent number: 11825198
Abstract: A drive device that reduces a returning force to return to the center when moving a movable unit with respect to a fixed unit and suppresses a load of an actuator driving the movable unit is provided. The drive device includes a fixed unit, a movable unit that is disposed so as to be capable of relatively moving in a predetermined range within a plane with respect to the fixed unit, a plurality of rolling members that are disposed between the fixed unit and the movable unit, an actuator configured to drive the movable unit, and an urging unit configured to urge the movable unit to the fixed unit via the rolling members. The urging unit includes a magnet and a magnetic body. One of the magnet and the magnetic body is held by the movable unit, and another of the magnet and the magnetic body is held by the fixed unit. A range, in which the magnet can move when the actuator is driven to move the movable unit, does not protrude from an end of the magnetic body when viewed from a direction orthogonal to the plane.

  • Patent number: 11770611
Abstract: An image pickup apparatus is provided with an image blur correction apparatus that corrects image blur of a captured image by using a shake detection signal that has been detected by a shake detection unit. A controller for image blur correction generates a first signal obtained by multiplying an output signal of the shake detection unit by a first correction ratio gain. A second signal is generated by multiplying the sum of the output signal of the shake detection unit that has passed through a low-pass filter and the output signal of the shake detection unit that has passed through a high-pass filter by a second correction ratio gain. A target generating unit generates a target value signal for image blur correction based on the sum of the first and second signals and drives the shake correction unit.

  • Patent number: 11765337
Abstract: Using the techniques discussed herein, a set of images is captured by one or more array imagers (106). Each array imager includes multiple imagers configured in various manners. Each array imager captures multiple images of substantially a same scene at substantially a same time. The images captured by each array image are encoded by multiple processors (112, 114). Each processor can encode sets of images captured by a different array imager, or each processor can encode different sets of images captured by the same array imager. The encoding of the images is performed using various image-compression techniques so that the information that results from the encoding is smaller, in terms of storage size, than the uncompressed images.

  • Patent number: 11765460
Abstract: Systems and methods facilitate digital zoom of live video based on remote user instructions. A user of a remote device may desire to zoom in on a particular aspect of a copy of a full image captured by a sensor at a first resolution and communicated to the remote device at a second resolution less than the first resolution. A selection that corresponds to a user-selected area of the copy and corresponding to a portion of the sensor is received by the sensor. Based on the selection, an instruction is generated to capture a second electronic image utilizing the portion of the sensor with the first resolution. Thus, rather than zooming into the first electronic image at the second resolution, the second electronic image corresponding to the portion of the sensor is captured at the first resolution and then converted to the second resolution, resulting in a higher resolution zoom.

  • Patent number: 11711631
Abstract: A dynamic vision sensor (DVS) or change detection sensor reacts to changes in light intensity and in this way monitors how a scene changes. This disclosure covers both single pixel and array architectures. The DVS may contain one pixel or 2-dimensional or 1-dimensional array of pixels. The change of intensities registered by pixels are compared, and pixel addresses where the change is positive or negative are recorded and processed. Analyzing frames based on just three values for pixels, increase, decrease or unchanged, the proposed DVS can process visual information much faster than traditional computer vision systems, which correlate multi-bit color or gray level pixel values between successive frames.
