Abstract: A ball retrieval apparatus (10, 910) for retrieving (e.g. tennis) balls (70) from the ground (72) includes a receptacle (12, 912) with an opening (26, 926) over which horizontal rods (36, 936) extend. The rods are received in apertures (34), and can move upwardly and laterally between lowermost and raised positions. The distance between rods in their lowermost positions is less than the ball's diameter. This distance increases as the rods are raised, and moved in opposite lateral directions. A ball can be retrieved by being received into the receptacle between adjacent rods. The rods then drop down to their lowermost positions so that the distance between them again decreases so that the ball is trapped in the receptacle. The invention also extends to a ball retrieval system including a trolley (46, 946) and one or two ball retrieval apparatus supported on the trolley.
Abstract: A pre-press head may be operated by an operating method. The pre-press head includes an adsorption unit and a control unit. The adsorption unit includes at least two vacuum adsorption structures each including a gas path and at least one gas hole communicated with the gas path. The control unit is configured to control, according to a size of a to-be-adsorbed object, formation of vacuum environment of each vacuum adsorption structure. The adsorption unit is configured to adsorb the to-be-adsorbed object under the control of the control unit. The solution provided by the application adjusts adsorption functions of the vacuum adsorption structures according to a size of a to-be-adsorbed circuit board, so that the pre-press head can be applicable to circuit boards having different sizes.
Abstract: A pet waste collecting device including a telescopic shaft assembly, a dispensing assembly, a scooping assembly and a handle assembly is disclosed. The telescopic shaft assembly can be retracted or expanded for easy use by users of all heights. The dispensing assembly is mounted onto the telescopic shaft assembly and is adapted to hold a granular material therein. The dispensing assembly is adapted to expand or retract along with the telescopic shaft assembly. Importantly, the handle assembly is mounted on a distal end of the telescopic shaft assembly. On an opposite distal end of the telescopic shaft assembly the scooping assembly is mounted thereon. Upon usage of the handle assembly the scooping assembly is controlled in order to open or close the scooping assembly to collect and later dispose of pet waste.

Abstract: There is provided herein a lifting and inversion bar especially configured for repositioning cable spools which typically comprise fragile end stop annuli. The present cable spool lifting and inversion bar is configured for repositioning a cable spool comprising a length and radius between horizontal (that is wherein the axis of the cable spool is horizontal) and vertical (that is wherein the axis of the cable spools vertical) orientations. The inversion bar comprises a straight frame and an orthogonal shaft bisecting the frame into long and short ends. Furthermore, for the vertical orientation, the spool is able to freely rests atop the frame without additional support which negates the requirement for horizontal spacers as does the prior art. In this way, the spool may be conveniently lifted from the inversion by using a forklift, a convenient procedure not made possible by the prior art arrangements.
Abstract: A stub plucking device includes a transfer mechanism, a grasping mechanism, and a sensing mechanism. The grasping mechanism is driven by the transfer mechanism to move toward or away from a reel. The grasping mechanism includes a connector mounting a movable clasp, a fixed clasp, and a grasping driving member. The grasping driving member drives the movable clasp to move toward the fixed clasp to grasp an end stub of the reel. The sensing mechanism senses whether a contact force between the fixed clasp and the reel has reached a predetermined force. When the sensing mechanism senses that the contact force between the fixed clasp and the reel has reached the predetermined force, the transfer mechanism drives the grasping mechanism to move a predetermined distance away from the reel.
