  • Patent number: 11971263
Abstract: Techniques for generating geographical units that can be used to generate delivery routes are described herein. Geospatial vector data and barrier geospatial vector data for a geographical area may be obtained. Seed points for one or more portions of the geographical area may be determined based at least in part on historical delivery volume for the geographical area. A plurality of polygons that represent the geographical area may be determined based at least in part on an algorithm that uses the seed points, the geospatial vector data, and the barrier geospatial vector data. Coordinates for a geographical unit of a plurality of geographical units that divide the geographical area may be determined based at least in part on the plurality of polygons and a polygon-to-polygon barrier aware drive time matrix that identifies a calculated cost for traveling from one polygon to another polygon using barriers identified in the barrier geospatial vector data.

  • Patent number: 11859985
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for improved mapping data validation using randomness measures. Methods may include receiving a map dataset that includes a plurality of map features. A knowledge graph may be generated based on the map dataset that may include nodes representing or corresponding to the map features. Nodes corresponding to map features of a particular feature type may be identified and edges connected to the identified nodes may be processed to identify a plurality of paths. A randomness measure for the particular feature type may be determined based on the plurality of paths. The randomness measure may indicate a predictability of occurrences of map features of the particular feature type in the map dataset. The randomness measure may then be compared to a second randomness measure determined based on another map dataset.

  • Patent number: 11851061
Abstract: A hitch assist system for a vehicle comprises an imaging system that receives image data of a hitch ball and trailer coupler, and a controller. The controller estimates a distance between a point on each of the hitch ball and trailer coupler. The points are parallel to a plane defined by a surface beneath the hitch ball and trailer coupler. The controller tracks the distance with a pixel-domain comparison between each of the points responsive to the distance being less than a first threshold, and maneuvers, via steering and braking systems, the vehicle along a path such that the distance is indicative of the points being coaxial.
