Abstract: Machine learning network trained to tune settings and optimize images. In accordance with one aspect, a method is provided for image optimization with a medical ultrasound scanner. A medical ultrasound scanner images a patient using first settings. A first image from the imaging using the first settings and patient information for the patient are input to a machine-learned network. The machine-learned network outputs second settings in response to the inputting of the first image and the patient information. The medical ultrasound scanner re-images the patient using the second settings. A second image from the re-imaging is displayed.
Abstract: A processor receives an input of finding information indicating at least one finding, which is desired to be searched for, on a query base image, which includes a part desired to be searched for and is a source of a query image, to derive the query image to which the finding has been added, derives at least one added finding feature amount indicating an image feature for the added finding, and derives a query normal feature amount indicating an image feature for a normal region included in the part in the query base image. The processor derives similarities between the query image and a plurality of reference images including findings on the basis of comparisons between the added finding feature amount and the query normal feature amount and the like with reference to an image database in which the plurality of reference images have been registered and extracts the reference image that is similar to the query image as a similar image from the image database on the basis of the similarities.

Abstract: Communication setting information for use in UWB communication is exchanged between a mobile terminal and an image forming apparatus by BLE communication. Information for identifying a ranging target is transmitted from the mobile terminal to the image forming apparatus by BLE communication or UWB communication, and the ranging target is identified by the image forming apparatus based on the received information. Ranging is started when the ranging target is identified, and the ranging request data is transmitted to the identified ranging target. The ranging is continued until a measured distance satisfies a first condition, and when the measured distance satisfies the first condition and the ranging is terminated, login authentication is performed on a user having logged in the mobile terminal, for the image forming apparatus.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for extracting high resolution oculometric parameters and eye movement parameters. A video stream having a video of a face of a user is processed to obtain a set of oculometric parameters, such as eyelid data, iris data (e.g., iris translation, iris radius and iris rotation), and pupil data (e.g., pupil center and pupil radius). The oculometric parameters are generated at a first temporal resolution. The oculometric parameters are up sampled to increase the temporal resolution to a second temporal resolution. The oculometric parameters are then processed to generate various eye movement parameters such as blink parameter, pupil response parameter, saccade parameter, anti-saccade parameter, fixation parameter, or smooth pursuit parameter. The oculometric parameters are synchronized with a video stimulus presented on a user device prior to generating the eye movement parameters.
