  • Patent number: 12688840
Abstract: A light emitter that operates through a display may cause display artifacts, even when the light emitter operates using non-visible wavelengths. To determine whether the light emitter has caused these artifacts, a display light sensor under the display may measure backside light leakage from the display. Based on the measured backside light leakage, the display light sensor or control circuitry may determine whether artifacts in the display exceed a predetermined acceptable artifact range. If the artifacts exceed this range, the artifacts may be mitigated. To mitigate the artifacts, the light emitter and/or the display may be adjusted. For example, the timing and/or dosage of the light emitter, the acceptable artifact range, and/or the timing of display content may be adjusted. In this way, the display light sensor may be used to form a closed-loop system to determine whether artifacts are present in the display and to mitigate those artifacts.

  • Patent number: 12681637
Abstract: Some aspects relate to technologies for providing keyboard emulators on product webpages of mechanical keyboards to emulate the tactile and/our auditory features of the mechanical keyboards. To configure a keyboard emulator for a given mechanical keyboard, a user interface is provided for presentation on a first user device. An input is received via the user interface that adjusts an element of a haptic pattern and/or a sound pattern for the keyboard emulator. Based on the input, a configured haptic pattern and/or configured sound pattern is provided for the virtual keys of the keyboard emulator. Once configured, the keyboard emulator is provided on a product webpage for the mechanical keyboard for presentation on a second user device. User interaction with virtual keys of the keyboard emulator causes the second user device to provide a haptic feedback and/or sound using the configured haptic pattern and/or configured sound pattern.

  • Patent number: 12626332
Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a projection data processing method, to reduce a delay in a wireless projection process. In the embodiments of this application, the method includes: A projection transmit end obtains network status information, and determines a target resolution of an image to be projected based on the network status information; and then determines a to-be-synthesized layer based on whether the image is in a full-screen scenario. Therefore, an amount of data to be sent during projection can be reduced, and a projection delay can be reduced. In addition, a projection receive end can perform super-resolution on the image, to avoid image quality damage caused by reducing the amount of data sent by the transmit end. This solution reduces the projection delay and ensures projection image quality to improve user experience.

  • Patent number: 12614480
Abstract: A display system for a motor vehicle includes a projection device having a display device which is configured to output image-bearing light for projecting a display image in an eye area of a user via a display surface. A combiner surface reflects the image-bearing light into the eye area of the user. A device configured to obtain an eye pose of the user transforms a display image with the aid of a post-transformation matrix so that local flaws in a surface section of the combiner surface which result in a distortion or a fuzziness of a perception image perceptible by the user are compensated. A display image is displayed on the display surface using brightness values so that a homogeneous and high contrast representation results based on the eye pose of the user and the detail of the combiner surface. The transformed display image is output via the display device.
