A holding cable that electrically and mechanically connects the housing and the body support is arranged in the lamp chamber. A grounding terminal that electrically connects the holding cable to a fuselage side structural member of the aircraft is provided in the housing.

Adjacent lightguiding portions are interconnected by bridge portions formed by cutouts in the lightguide plate. The lightguide arrangement is characterized in that the mounting insert has ribs protruding from a lower surface thereof and matingly fitting with the cutouts in the lightguide plate to localize the lightguide plate and to restrict propagation of light through the cutouts, and in that the mounting insert comprises attachment means for attaching it to an underlying structure.

This invention further discloses a display device. An area of the diffuser plate that is emitted by each spot light source is enlarged and the emitted light becomes more uniform. The number of spot light sources is reduced and the problem of LED Mura is avoided.
