  • Apparatus and system for coordinating a surgical plume evacuator and power generator

    Abstract: A surgical smoke filter and evacuator and a surgical power generator of the type used for electrocautery, laser surgery or the like are combined with an enclosure between the generator and the evacuator. The enclosure directs air which has been filtered of surgical plume contaminants from the evacuator past heat sink elements associated with the generator to facilitate dissipation of heat accumulated incidental to operation of the generator.
