  • Patent number: 4496059
Abstract: A curtain bow 15 is used to displace a curtain 10 from its usual position for a variety of purposes. Bow 15 is formed of a longitudinally compression resistant material flexible enough to be bowed between a pair of end supports 16 spaced apart by less than the length of the bow. End supports 16 hold the ends of bow 15 from turning and dispose the blow in a plane approximately midway between horizontal and vertical to displace curtain 10 in a desired direction from its gravitationally assumed position.

  • Patent number: 4476986
Abstract: An easel device for assembly with a display shelf panel having a plurality of peg holes, in which the easel device includes downward diverging front and rear support members, preferably made of elastically yieldable wire members and having downward and forward projecting peg elements for insertion into corresponding peg holes in the shelf panel to support a planar article, such as a book, in an upright inclined position upon the shelf panel. The shelf panel is further characterized by transverse ribs spaced in front of the peg holes receiving the peg elements of the front support members to support the planar article between the front support member and the rib member. The shelf panel may also include transversely spaced downward projecting bearing ridge members, or downward projecting bearing pads adapted to be adhesively secured to the top surface of the supporting shelf.

  • Patent number: 4387847
Abstract: An improved container for loading, storing and/or transporting materials, particularly particulate materials which give rise to airborne contaminants when they are handled. The improved container of the present invention includes a container body having an opening on one sidewall thereof, deflection means arranged inside of the container for directing airborne contaminants disposed inside of the container away from the opening and a door member pivotally connected with the container. The door member is pivotal between a generally horizontal open position wherein the door member cooperates with the deflection means to direct airborne contaminants inside of the container away from the opening and to substantially separate the interior of the container from the opening and a closed position wherein the door member substantially closes the opening.
