Abstract: An impeller includes: a cylinder that includes a circular plate-shaped circular plate and a peripheral wall that extends from an outer peripheral edge of the circular plate along a rotation shaft of the impeller; and a blade mounted to an outer peripheral surface of the peripheral wall, the blade being configured to send air. The circular plate has a circular plate opening at a center, the circular plate opening penetrating the circular plate along the rotation shaft, and a sidewall opening is formed at the peripheral wall, the sidewall opening penetrating the peripheral wall along a direction different from a direction parallel to the rotation shaft.
Abstract: A bearing assembly for use in a deepwell submersible pump, the pump and a method of pumping a geothermal fluid. The bearing assembly is constructed to include a lubricant conveying mechanism, a bearing sleeve and a multilayer bushing. The lubricant is forced between the bushing and a bearing sleeve by the lubricant conveying mechanism that cooperates with the rotation of a shaft used to connect a power-providing motor with one or more pump impellers. In this way, there exists a substantially continuous lubricant environment between the sleeve and bushing to act in a hydrodynamic fashion.

Abstract: A pump/motor includes a back plate having first and second fluid ports configured to be differentially pressurized, first and second reaction plates rigidly coupled to the back plate, and a valve plate slideably coupled to the back plate and having first and second fluid feed channels configured to receive fluid from the first and second fluid ports. A plurality of hold-down pistons is positioned in respective hold-down cylinders formed in the valve plate. Each of the hold-down pistons is configured to be biased, by pressurized fluid in the respective hold-down cylinder, against a surface of one of the reaction plates. A barrel, having a plurality of drive cylinders, is rotatably coupled to the valve plate. Drive pistons positioned in the drive cylinders are biased against a thrust plate by pressurized fluid in the drive cylinders. The thrust plate is coupled to an output shaft of the pump/motor.
