  • Patent number: 8529302
Abstract: A connector comprising a connector main body for insertion of an object to be connected; a plurality of contacts disposed at intervals from one another within the connector main body in the width direction; and a freely rotatable press member for pressing respective contacts against the inserted object to be connected. When the press member is rotated in one direction, respective contacts are pressed toward the object to be connected by the press member and, when the press member is rotated in the other direction, the press of the respective contacts by the press member is cancelled. A rotation fulcrum of the press member is provided between one and the other ends so that when one end of the press member is pressed, the press member rotates in one direction and, when the other end of the press member is pressed, the press member rotates in the other direction.

  • Patent number: 8460025
Abstract: A flexing strip (41) is formed on a housing (20). An interference part (63) is formed on a fit-on detector (50). A distinguishing part (46) having a color different from the fit-on detector (50) is formed on the flexing strip (41). The flexing strip (41) interferes with the interference part (63) and deforms while moving the fit-on detector (50) from a wait position to a detection position. The flexing strip (41) is released from an interference state with the interference part (63) and elastically restores to its original state when the fit-on detector (50) has reached the detection position. A position of the distinguishing part (46) relative to the interference part (63) changes before and after a flexing of the flexing strip (41) so that the distinguishing part (46) is exposed and can be seen from a distinguishing position.

  • Patent number: 8439713
Abstract: The present invention is to provide a high-power connector having a heat dissipation structure, which includes a cover, a plurality of resilient metal terminals and a plurality of auxiliary metal plates. The cover is made of an insulating material and defines a plurality of receiving spaces therein. The resilient metal terminals are fitted in the receiving spaces respectively. The front section of each resilient metal terminal has an arcuate shape, passes through a lateral side of the cover, and is exposed from the cover. The front section of each auxiliary metal plate is electrically connected to the corresponding resilient metal terminal, and the rear section of each auxiliary metal plate is electrically connected to a circuit board. Since the auxiliary metal plates have relatively low impedance capable of rapidly releasing the heat generated by the connector, the components of the connector are prevented from premature aging attributable to high temperature.
