  • Patent number: 11097185
Abstract: A game controller has first and second controllers detachably coupled to a bridge or an information handling system housing to provide inputs to a gaming application executing on the information handling system, such as from a joystick input device integrated in each controller. Logic stored in non-transitory memory of the information handling system executes to track game controllers based upon unique identifiers retrieved from each controller to the information handling system, such as through a direct coupling of the controllers to the information handling system or indirect communication by the information handling system with a bridge directly coupled to the controllers. The information handling system sets priority for inputs from game controllers based upon controller unique identifiers and also tracks composite game controller assemblies that include controllers and a bridge.

  • Patent number: 11090545
Abstract: A wireless customizable referee paging system is disclosed. The system includes at least two flag signaling components, each flag signaling component having an electronic signature to send a unique flag signal based on a flag user's input for that flag signaling component. The system includes a central receiving component that receives the unique flag signal from each flag signaling component and then alerts a central user to receipt of the unique flag signal. The flag signaling components and the central receiving component each having a Bluetooth® radio circuit and thereby the flag signaling components communicate with the central receiving component substantially exclusively via Bluetooth® technology. The flag signaling components and the central receiving component each have a pairing-mode and a signaling-mode. The pairing-mode uniquely pairs each flag signaling component to the central receiving component.

  • Patent number: 11087638
Abstract: A computer system and computer-automated method for analyzing sports performance data from a game. A data set is provided that contains a log of a first time sequence of game data events which are classified into event types. A second time sequence is generated from the first time sequence by aggregating the events into game patterns, and a third time sequence is generated by aggregating the game patterns into game strategies. A multi-level time sequence event hierarchy is thus created. These multiple time sequence levels are rendered into a visualization in which the different types at each level are visually distinct from each other. The visualization reveals to a game expert player or team behavior in the data set which can be used for player and team improvement.

  • Patent number: 11055963
Abstract: A computer-implemented method of operating a regulated gaming machine may comprise providing a game configured to generate a plurality of in-game assets on a display, the in-game assets being configured such that successful player interaction therewith selectively triggers. An opportunity for the player to reconfigure the game in exchange for value from the player may be selectively enabled during game play. When a received player interaction is indicative of the player accepting the provided opportunity, value from the player may be accepted and the game reconfigured by changing one or more of the in-game assets and/or changing what constitutes successful interactions therewith that triggers wagers. Conversely, when the received player interaction is indicative of the player foregoing the provided opportunity, the game is continued and wagers selectively triggered without reconfiguring the game.
