  • Patent number: 6067441
Abstract: A device is to be coupled and used with a standard non-power providing directional tap and includes a power coupling unit and a power combining unit. The power coupling unit is adapted to be connected to an output port of the directional tap. The power coupling unit filters out RF signals from the output port and outputs an AC power signal from the output port. The power combining unit includes at least two sets of combining circuits with a common input port connected to the power coupling unit so as to receive the AC power signal therefrom. Each combining circuit has an RF input signal port adapted to be connected to a respective one of the RF signal ports of the directional tap so as to receive the RF signal therefrom, and a combined output signal port with an output which is the AC power signal from the common input port and the RF signal from the RF input signal port.

  • Patent number: 5831687
Abstract: In a color video signal processing method, color difference component signals are converted into RGB component signals by a digital to digital conversion so as to reduce a size of a processing unit used for the conversion. An analog composite signal is converted into analog color difference component signals. The analog color difference component signals are then converted into digital color difference component signals. The digital color difference component signals are converted into digital RGB component signals by a digital to digital conversion based on an approximation method. Finally, the digital RGB component signals are converted into analog RGB component signals. The digital-to-digital conversion may be performed in accordance with equations in which each factor is a fractional number having a denominator of a power of 2.

  • Patent number: 5801777
Abstract: A device for decoding digital video data including a variable length decoder (VLD), an inverse discrete cosine transform (DCT) converting part, a movement compensating part, and a first storage device for repeated production of first video frame data responsive to a control signal display format. A second storage device is also employed for reordering and storing second video frame data produced by adding the data from the inverse DCT converting part and the movement compensating part repeatedly and repeated production of stored data in response to a control signal produced according to the display format. A switching device is further included that selectively produces the second video frame data, composed of reordered and repeated production of the first video frame data in response to a selection control signal and a controlling device provides control signals and display format information.
