Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for remote interference mitigation between base stations using reference signals. Certain aspects provide a method for wireless communication by a first base station (BS). The method includes receiving a reference signal (RS) from a second BS. The method further includes performing interference measurement corresponding to interference from the second BS based on the RS being associated with the second BS.

Abstract: Methods and systems for dynamically adjusting a data rate in a wireless connection are provided. The systems include a source device and a sink device configured to establish a wireless connection. The quality of the wireless connection is monitored. Should the quality degrade so as to satisfy a triggering event, the source controller can adjust the data rate, e.g., the bit rate or sample rate, used to reduce the number of dropped, lost, or retransmitted packets. The reduction in bit rate and/or sample rate results in packets of decreased size and additional unused air-time. The unused air-time provided can be filled with at least a portion of a frame of data originally associated with another packet. This will result in at least one packet being free to include additional retransmission packets. Additionally, should the quality of the connection improve, the source controller can adjust increase the data rate accordingly.
Abstract: A communication method includes: a first device obtains transmission states of first n data packets by using a first protocol layer entity, where the first protocol layer entity includes a radio link control (RLC) layer entity or an entity above an RLC layer; the first device starts a timer if transmission states of m data packets in the first n data packets are transmission failures, where n and m are both positive integers, and m is less than or equal to n; and the first device determines a radio resource configuration parameter used to transmit a subsequent data packet, or sends a first message to a second device, where the first message is used to indicate a state of the timer, and the state of the timer is used to determine the radio resource configuration parameter used to transmit the subsequent data packet.
Abstract: A base station (BS) can include a site-specific and dynamic codebook design. The BS includes an antenna and a transceiver coupled to the antenna and configured to communicate via a wireless communication medium. The BS also includes a processor coupled to the transceiver. The processor is configured to: receive, from a user equipment (UE), a measurement report comprising a best beam index and a corresponding received power; estimate a UE channel including a path gain and angle of departure; update the site-specific codebook based on the estimated UE channel; and transmit control and data signals to the UE using the updated site-specific codebook.
Abstract: A universal local area network power line carrier repeater system and method provides: 1) LAN interfaces for converting high speed LAN data to high speed PLC data and high speed PLC data to high speed LAN data, 2) a high speed PLC data transceiver for exchanging PLC data with other repeaters, and 3) a repeater control system and method for arbitrating data communications on the power line medium among the plurality of repeaters seeking access to said medium.
