Abstract: A mascara brush comprises a core formed from a helical twist and a plurality of bristles fixed to the core over a portion extending over an axial length L of the helical twist and comprising a succession of n turns. The plurality of bristles comprises a first plurality of bristles termed radial bristles. The core has an upper portion for fixing to a wand of a mascara applicator. The brush is characterized in that the plurality of bristles further comprises at least one second plurality of bristles termed axial bristles since they extend parallel to the axial direction. The presence of axial bristles in the brush can broaden mascara formulation possibilities.

Abstract: A cosmetics keeping case for storing cosmetics and cosmetic tools which includes an upper movable body, a lower movable body, reception compartments for retaining a number of cosmetics inside the lower movable body and a tool reception element for safely receiving and storing the cosmetic tools, wherein the tool reception element is caused to part 30 elastically rotate by a distortion spring, to a stand up position to make the cosmetic tools accessible, and at the same time, by using a V-shaped spring mounted in the tool reception element to prevent the cosmetic tools from contacting the inner side of the upper movable body and to prevent the brush portions of the cosmetic tools from being pressed flat when the upper movable body is closed on the lower movable body.

Abstract: The invention relates to a cosmetology manicure spa bath for two hands, wherein the user's nails and hands receive pulsating, heated jets of liquid solution. The basin of the invention is disposed at a declining angle from the user. The receiving area in the invention for the two hands is disposed within the basin and is comprised of two depressions generally in the shape of a hand, with raised projections distributed within these two depressions for massaging the hands while keeping the hands from touching the bottom of these depressions. Features of the invention include at least one wrist rest, at least one built in nail brush, and a manicure implement receptacle.

Abstract: In one embodiment of the present invention, an electric oral cleaning device is provided and includes a handle and a power supply contained therein. The device has a motor that drives a motor linkage, which includes a push rod that has one end that engages and moves a dental cleaning head about a center pin to cause an oscillation motion of the head. The entire head assembly is also interchangeable such that a flossing tool and various brushing tools may be utilized by the same device. In one aspect of the invention, the flossing tool includes a piece of slacked flossing material held between two arms defined by the flossing tool.

Abstract: The present invention provides a self-adhesive tip guide application device for applying tip guides during a French manicure. The present invention allows the user to use both hands in applying the guides to a nail. The device includes an elongated frame having a series of arms extending substantially perpendicularly away from the frame. Each arm contains at least one releasably secured arch-shaped tip guide. The frame also contains a releasably-secured release liner. When removed, the frame can be secured to any surface, thereby more easily allowing the user to apply the guides to the nail.
