Abstract: An electronic payment terminal is disclosed including a display screen including first and second terminals for receiving display data, a first processor connected to the first terminal and adapted for supplying display data to the first terminal at a first rate, and a second processor connected to the second terminal and adapted for supplying display data to the second terminal at a second rate lower than the first rate and adapted for supplying to the display screen a signal for the selection of the display data received at one of the first and second terminals. The second processor is further connected to the first processor and is adapted to send to the first processor a signal for authorizing or forbidding the transmission of display data to the display screen.

Abstract: In general, aspects of this disclosure describe example techniques for efficient usage of the fixed data rate processing of a graphics processing unit (GPU) for a variable data rate processing. For example, the GPU may be coupled to a pixel value processing unit that receives pixel values for pixels in an image processed by the GPU. The pixel value processing unit may determine whether the pixel values are for pixels that require further processing, and store the pixel values for the pixels that are required for further processing in a buffer.

Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to methods for marketing investment services. The methods may comprise receiving at least one signal from a position detector indicating a position of a viewer relative to a display screen in a first axis and a perpendicular distance of the viewer from the display screen. The display screen may be aligned along the first axis and a second axis. The methods may also comprise displaying with the display screen a user interface. The user interface may comprise an age scale aligned with the first axis, an asset scale aligned with a second axis and a chart of assets versus age. Upon determining that the perpendicular distance of the viewer from the display screen is less than a predetermined value, the methods may comprise modifying the interface to display an element at a first position on the age scale corresponding to a position of the viewer relative to the display screen in the first axis.

The hearing aid of the present invention includes a microphone 101 configured to collect sound; a hearing aid processing unit 102 configured to perform hearing aid processing to an input signal from the microphone 101; a speaker 103 configured to output a signal processed by the hearing aid processing unit 102 to the outside; and a drop detection unit 104 configured to detect drop by reference to the input signal from the microphone 101.
