    Abstract: Apparatus and method for installing a multi-tooth dental prosthesis in one session are shown and described. A first tool attaches to the jawbone, and serves as a foundation for subsequently used guides. Existing teeth and dental fixtures are removed, and the bone tissue is removed to accommodate the prosthesis. Subsequently, a drill guide is used to drill implant holes. An abutment guide is then used to place abutments. Copings are then installed. Next, the prosthesis may be installed and cemented to the copings. A resinous filler material may be applied to fill gaps and holes in and between the copings and the prosthesis, and is sanded smooth.

The end caps are connected by screw fasteners to the support member of a brush, and an array of tufts of bristles project upwardly from the support member to engage the elongated chew element. The chew element is supported with respect to the bristles such that when a dog chews on the chew element the dog's teeth also encounter and are brushed by the bristles. When the chew element is worn or consumed, an end cap is removed by releasing one of the screw fasteners, thereby giving access for insertion of a replacement chew element.

The hook can be curved so that the hook is more retentive on the aligner. The hook can be reinforced so that the reinforcement resists deformation when the elastic is in place.

    Abstract: An improved preparation method uses an additional preparation tray as part of a multi-step tray alignment system which achieves orthodontic tooth movement. The preparation tray incorporates openings in the tray for the application of a bonding preparation fluid, such as an etching agent, or alternately, an etching and bonding agent, in the correct location and amount. The openings are at least the size and shape of the tooth attachments and greatly reduce the tooth surface area accessible to the clinician. This confines the bonding preparation fluid to an area equal to, or slightly larger than, the attachment contact area. The method and apparatus provide faster application, vastly reduced cleanup, less tooth enamel damage, and less chair time for the patient.
