Abstract: A male undergarment has a pouch on an inside surface of the front section defined by two of fabric flap portions where each fabric flap portion is folded to define two overlying sheets of the fabric with edges of the sheets stitched into the seam and a folded edge spaced from the first seam toward the crease between the inner thigh and the groin of the wearer so that the crease and inner thigh engage the folded edge rather than the seam for improved comfort. A similar folded flap portion can be provided at the junction between the thigh and the groin.

Abstract: A helmet airflow control member includes a plate-like main body arranged on a shell and including a main body rear surface that covers part of a shell outer surface, and at least one passage formation portion arranged on the main body rear surface. A periphery of the main body rear surface includes a first peripheral portion, which is shaped in correspondence with the shell outer surface and closes a space between the main body rear surface and the shell outer surface, and a second peripheral portion, which is spaced apart from the shell outer surface and defines an opening of the space between the main body rear surface and the shell outer surface in cooperation with the shell outer surface. The passage formation portion defines a passage in the space, with the passage extending from the opening into the space and returning from the space to the opening.

Abstract: Disclosed is a novel non-slip grippy ventilated shoe made of a slip resistant material with a failure mode of from 1 to 50 Newtons/millimeter, and is generally made of a cage-like configuration to provide maximum slip resistance as well as ventilation with minimum structure, just sufficient enough structure to allow the shoe to provide grip on a surface. The shoe is useful in performing floor exercises such as barre, yoga and pilates among other applications such as water sports like surfing where grip is important, or for hospital settings for fall risk patients to alleviate the risk of falling.

Abstract: An upper for an article of footwear includes a base layer, an exterior layer, a first strap, and a second strap. The exterior layer at least partially covers an outer side of the base layer and defines a first aperture and a second aperture both in a forefoot region. Each strap includes a central portion, a front branch, and a rear branch, the front and rear branches disposed between the outer side of the base layer and the exterior layer. The front branch of the second strap crosses the rear branch of the first strap and is disposed forward of the rear branch of the first strap at the lower extent of the base layer. The central portion of the first strap extends through the first aperture and defines a first loop, and the central portion of the second strap extends through the second aperture and defines a second loop.

Abstract: A mechanism to adjust the size of headwear is provided. Two engagement clips attach to either side of an open space on the headwear. A tooth/track connects the two clips. The clips may be adjusted to fit the size of the head.

Abstract: A bowling glove includes a glove body including a palm portion configured to cover a palm of a wearer, and a protruding nub securably attachable to the palm portion of the glove body such that the location of the protruding nub relative to the palm portion of the glove body is selectively adjustable. The protruding nub is configured to protrude from the palm portion of the glove body, and the protruding nub is configured to be received by a bore of a bowling ball. A method of manufacturing the bowling glove and a method of fitting a bowling ball to the bowling glove are further described.

Abstract: Disclosed is a finger guard. In an example embodiment, the finger guard includes a rectangular reticulate or netlike pad networked in a movable manner such that a plurality of unit plate pieces are connected to one another in four directions by a plurality of connecting loop members, and at least a pair of fastening belt members provided to extend or protrude parallel with one side of the reticulate pad, wherein the finger guard is configured to be worn in the form of a protective armor such that the reticulate pad covers and wraps around the dorsal side of a finger, upon which the finger guard is to be worn, and the respective fastening belt members pass the volar side of the finger to then be connected to be hooked on to one of the unit plate pieces in a state in which a portion of the volar side of the finger is opened and exposed in a length direction of the finger.

Abstract: An article of footwear includes an upper and a sole structure secured to an underside of the upper. The sole structure includes a midsole; a ground contacting outsole surface; and a cushioning system disposed between the midsole and the ground contacting outsole surface. The cushioning system includes a plate comprising an upper plate and a lower plate provided in a spaced relationship. The upper plate and lower plate are integrally connected at a posterior portion of the sole structure. A midfoot fluid-filled chamber is provided between the upper plate and the lower plate within the midfoot region, and a forefoot fluid-filled chamber is provided between the upper plate and the lower plate within the forefoot region.

Abstract: A strap includes an elastomeric portion and three loci, with the first locus and the second locus being permanently attached to a garment and the third locus being removably, selectively attached to the garment. The strap includes an elastomeric portion and is configured to selectively include two pathways or one pathway, so as to retain a fabric member between a rear surface of the strap and the liner of the garment.
