  • Patent number: 12632859
Abstract: Validation/authorization of nodes within a distributed trust computing network for participation in consensus mechanisms. The validation/authorization is based at least on current geo-location of the node being within predefined geo-location boundaries. Geo-location of a node may be proven by receiving geo-coordinates from a geo-receiver connected to the node and in synch with a geo-satellite or, when geo-signals are unavailable, through secondary geo-receivers. Additionally, validation/authorization of nodes for participation in consensus mechanisms is based further on whether the node currently holds digital property or holds a specified amount of digital property.

  • Patent number: 12548022
Abstract: Systems and methods of executing a real-time electronic transaction by a real-time transaction system are disclosed. One method includes receiving, by an application programing interface (API) system, an electronic transaction request from a user. The API system may transmit the electronic transaction request to a choreographer system. The choreographer system may transmit a validation API call based on the electronic transaction request to an account system. The account system may determine whether an account associated with the electronic transaction request exists in the real-time transaction system. The choreographer system may transmit an authorization API call based on the electronic transaction request to an authorization system. The choreographer system may receive an authorization response from the authorization system.

  • Patent number: 12518276
Abstract: Examples describe data security for communication systems. One example includes validating a merchant system using merchant data and generating a set of merchant credentials. The set of merchant credentials is then used in authentication to facilitate a secure transaction, which involves automatically generating transaction data with a tokenized client account number associated with the secure transaction. A refund request associated with the secure transaction is received with the set of merchant credentials that are used for automatically authenticating the merchant system. The example then involves accessing a database that includes the transaction data for automatically facilitating settlement of a refund payment using the authenticated merchant system and the transaction data.

  • Patent number: 12489647
Abstract: A method executed by a computing device includes identifying a contingency-action token (CAT) of an object distributed ledger that meets minimum CAT requirements. The method further includes determining to select the CAT based on an evaluation of the CAT with regards to an evaluation profile. When selecting the CAT the method further includes facilitating taking control of the selected CAT of a blockchain of the object distributed ledger using a securely passing process and updating the selected CAT utilizing the secure exchange posting information for the CAT to produce an updated CAT. The method further includes causing, using the securely passing process, generation of a new block affiliated with the updated CAT via another blockchain of another object distributed ledger for a secure exchange, where the new block includes the updated CAT.

  • Patent number: 12481992
Abstract: The invention relates to a transaction verification system for authenticating a transaction performed at a transaction system. The transaction system provides a visual presentation of the transaction, comprising uncoded data and machine-extractable coded data. The transaction system also provides verification data for verifying one or more authenticity features of at least part of the uncoded data. The verification data can be obtained based on the coded data. A transaction verification device obtains, using an image interface, one or more camera images of the visual presentation of the transaction, and these camera images are then used to verify the one or more authenticity features based on the verification data.

  • Patent number: 12475462
Abstract: A system and method for verifying a signature in real-time when authenticating a card-based transaction. Initially, a digital reference signature is captured on a mobile device, sent in hashed form to a rules engine, and evaluated for features such as length, time, orientation, area, and pressure changes. Subsequently, a digital transaction signature is captured on a POS terminal, sent in hashed form to the rules engine via an acquirer, and evaluated for the same features. The rules engine compares the features of the signatures. If the transaction signature is verified, the rules engine sends an authentication token to the acquirer, and the acquirer sends the token and an authorization request to an issuer. If not, the acquirer sends a denial message to the merchant. If the power level of the POS terminal is insufficient to properly capture the transaction signature for effective evaluation, then an alternative authentication method is used.
