  • Patent number: 10795456
Abstract: The present application provides a method and device for searching stripe set and a system with the same. Wherein, the method includes: a plurality of first connected domains are obtained in the binary image. A target connected domain is selected from the plurality of first connected domains. The stripe set based on the target connected domain is determined to determine a stripe pattern. A center of the stripe pattern is calculated according to the target connected domain of the stripe set. Whether the stripe set is an effective stripe set is determined based on the center of the stripe pattern. The method can eliminate the impact of incomplete stripe pattern on the image and improve the accuracy of recognition.

  • Patent number: 10776643
Abstract: A vehicular airborne particulate detection system in one embodiment includes a particulate matter concentration sensor positioned in a passenger space of a vehicle. The particulate matter concentration sensor generates a signal associated with an airborne particulate matter concentration in the passenger space which is analyzed by a controller to identify a cyclical particulate matter concentration pattern which is classified as a smoking event. The controller then generates an output using a user interface based upon the classified smoking event.

  • Patent number: 10764560
Abstract: A system for producing 3D video using first and second cameras on first and second axes. The second camera has a field of view (FOV) overlapping with the first camera's FOV. The second axis is at a convergence angle relative to the first axis. A control computer changes the inter-camera distance by effectively moving the second camera laterally, and changes convergence angle by effectively rotating the second camera. The control computer automatically calculates the inter-camera distance and convergence angle based on the distance of a user to the display screen, working distance of the cameras, zoom settings, and size of the screen, and effectively moves the second camera accordingly. A keystone correction is performed to account for the camera projections, the frames are rotationally aligned, and the corrected/aligned frames are combined to produce a 3D image frame that is displayed on a 3D display screen.

  • Patent number: 10735762
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an image processing apparatus and an image processing method that are capable of improving coding efficiency at the time when a prediction using a correlation within a screen is performed. A predicted vector generation section sets, at a time of encoding of a current motion vector of a current block for a prediction using a correlation within a screen, a candidate block to not available and generates a predicted vector of the current motion vector by using a reference motion vector, the reference motion vector being referred to when the predicted vector of the current motion vector is generated. A difference vector generation section generates a difference vector between the current motion vector and the predicted vector generated by the predicted vector generation section. The present disclosure can be applied to, for example, an encoding apparatus.

  • Patent number: 10728571
Abstract: A video decoding method performed by a decoding device includes: deriving control points (CPs) for a current block; acquiring motion vectors for the CPs; deriving a sample-unit motion vector in the current block based on the acquired motion vectors; deriving a prediction sample for the current block based on the sample-unit motion vector; and generating a restoration sample based on the prediction sample, wherein coordinates of a bottom-right sample position of the current block are (0, 0), and coordinates of CPO among the CPs are (0, 0). Inter prediction is effectively performed through sample-unit motion vectors even when an image in a current block is planarly moved and variously changed, and since motion vectors for CPs are derived based on already-decoded neighboring blocks, an amount of information for the motion vectors for the CPs and for a residual signal for the current block is reduced, improving overall coding efficiency.

  • Patent number: 10713811
Abstract: A security camera system includes a base unit and sensor modules for generating image data. The base unit includes several mounting sockets arranged at different elevational and azimuthal directions around the base unit, and the sensor modules attach, for example, magnetically, to the mounting sockets. The security camera system is capable of automatic detection of the location of the sensor modules, as the identification information for the mounting sockets to which the sensor modules are attached are identified by image analytics. A reference image depicting the security camera system or an area surrounding the security camera system is analyzed and the positions of the sensor modules are determined based on the reference image. In the latter example, the reference image includes markers designating points of reference visible to the sensor modules and is compared to image data generated by the sensor modules.

  • Patent number: 10693843
Abstract: Security and access control is provided for sensor devices, the data captured by sensor devices, and the results of processing and analyzing that data. In one aspect, SceneData related to a Scene is requested from a sensor-side technology stack and at least some of the SceneData is secured, for example by encryption. Different SceneData can be secured separately and at different levels of security, thus providing fine-grained security of the SceneData. In yet another aspect, data security is implemented by a separate privacy management system. In yet another aspect, sensor devices themselves are secured against external network threats. The sensor device includes an execution environment and a separate network management layer that secures the execution environment against threats from the external network. In one implementation, the sensor device is partitioned into a trusted region and a non-trusted region, and the network security stack is implemented in the trusted region.
