  • Patent number: 11258753
Abstract: The present disclosure is related to the network communication technology field and relates to a method for the classification and recognition of the Domain Name System (DNS) server, using machine-learning techniques. The classification process assigns a given DNS server as belonging to a preset of classes. For example, it enables to label a DNS server as either benign or malicious. On the other hand, the recognition process seeks the identification of the DNS server behavioral profile, which, consequently, can be used to assess the DNS server trustworthiness before DNS responses can be reliably used, e.g. identification of well-known and trusted DNS servers. Hence, the present patent, by the means of detecting the DNS server RFC adherence improves user security through the classification and recognition of DNS characteristics. Therefore, security solutions can use the DNS server characteristics to assess its trustworthiness before DNS responses can be reliably used.

  • Patent number: 11223526
Abstract: Systems and methods of managing information technology infrastructure are described. A method includes identifying a run trigger between a first node and a second node, each node maintaining a configuration for a portion of a cloud computing infrastructure associated with executing a portion of a cloud-based application. The run trigger initiates in response to an action at the first node and comprises a source identifier identifying the first node and a destination identifier identifying the second node. Then a run is queued on the second node based on the run trigger, the run including a process executed on the second portion of the cloud computing infrastructure with data received by the second node and associated with a run source identifier. The run on the second node is then planned and executed, causing the cloud computing infrastructure to modify infrastructure resources associated with the second portion of the cloud computing infrastructure.

  • Patent number: 11190596
Abstract: In a session management method, when a first access and mobility management function (AMF) network element serving a terminal becomes unavailable, a service management function (SMF) network element obtains a pool identifier of an AMF pool that includes the first AMF, and queries a network repository function (NRF) entity to obtain the address or identifier of a second AMF in the same AMF pool. The SMF then triggers the second AMF network element to obtain a context of the terminal from a unstructured data storage function (UDSF) entity.
